Pack Rat customer service is great if you can get a hold of them. Sometimes I would leave a message and they wouldn't call me back. They delivered 2 containers to us. One of them was new which was great. The other was so beat up, bent and full of holes. My husband had to duct tape and caulk everywhere. They did however pay for the tape and caulk. In the end, our stuff arrived and was in great condition. I would recommend Pack Rat over PODS and Zippy Shell in a heartbeat.

We had a little glitch where the container was not delivered on the schedule day. The container itself was in good condition. The customer service was good and actually on the day it was supposed to originally be delivered, the representative stayed past closing to ensure I had a new date. The container was delivered and picked up timely after that little glitch. I would use them again.

We're not done yet with the move

Company kept adding costs after initial quote, final cost was over 800 dollars more than original offer. Was not made aware of this until after unit was picked up.

Great communication when ordering and calling back with questions. The truck drivers (6 overall) were universally helpful and competent as well as very pleasant. Cross country move cost 8700.

Just a couple things keep this company from a 5 star: no time window for drop off or pick up, just the day. Forgot to bring moving pads and put it on me to drive 45 min to their warehouse to get them myself. They did not schedule the delivery correctly and moved/delayed my receive date 3 times. That said, the initial set up was great, good help from the phone coordinator and containers are fine and hold more weight than competitors. Cost below is per 16' container.

Very dependable and courteous. The weight of one of our containers pushed the limits but they handled it without issue. I didn't totally fill it to the ceiling either but it could have been an issue if I did.

This is the second time we used this system and the first time using a competitor was not as pleasant an experience. Pack-Rat did a great job sticking to the agreement and the guys dropping off / picking up were friendly and efficient.

1800 Pack Rat has been great and very responsive. Containers arrived a day late but they were able to pick them up 4 days early and delivery me one more container right away as we ran out of room. Highly recommend Pack Rat!

Not recommended, poor customer service and inexperienced Ct. driver damaged my driveway. Florida drivers were more professional.

The drivers that come out to drop off and pick up the containers are fantastic! The call center personel are nice too but sometimes there is a disconnect between the two. Better communication between the driver, call center, and customer would bump this up to a five.

Great value, sturdy containers, pleasant and courteous delivery drivers. We had 3 containers with staggered delivery dates. Stayed right on schedule - even with our many changes!

It wasn't made clear to us that the truck bringing the container needs a very long area to pack in -- the driver had to drop the container on the opposite side of the street instead of in our parking slots. It worked out, but it was stressful. The container was clean, one slight dent to the side; everyone was friendly and helpful.

They were very informative. We compared pricing amongst companies. They offered the better value.

Drivers were excellent but there has to be better communication between them and schedulers so promises aren't made that cannot be fulfilled.

I did a local move with packrat pods so that most of my belongings could be out of the house during termite fumigation. The price was good in comparison but my pods arrived a day later than promised and when I called two times I tried to use the call back service where it says they will call you back instead of having to wait on the line and they did not call me back either time. The drivers were fine and it worked out in the end but if they had been later to move the pods instead of just deliver them it would have been very bad. Also, I expect a company to call me back as promised.

Very disappointed in the customer service. Got the runaround on when the Pod was supposed to be delivered. I was told a 3 to 5:30 pm widow. Each time I called to find out why they didn't show up, they kept adding an hour to the delivery time. My Pod finally was delivered at 8 pm. Communication with Customer service was horrible. I'd get a different story each time. I will not recommend Pack Rat to anyone and it took 30 minutes to get someone to talk to.

We moved from New Hampshire, and the gentleman who delivered our containers was the most happy guy I've ever met. He was very friendly, and placed blocks of wood down on the driveway so as to not damage the asphalt. Our crew in North Carolina was not as careful. We had two containers, one to remain in storage and one to be delivered. The wrong container was delivered, and had to be sent back. When the correct container was delivered, it was not placed on wood blocks. As a result, when it was ready to be picked up, the driver dragged it across the asphalt, causing damage to the parking spaces. On top of that, he then hit my car and tore open the entire rear end.

With exception of a late arrival, all was good. No problems.

Pack Rat was excellent working with me for pick up and delivery. Always in contact with me. The containers were clean upon arrival. The drivers were very courteous and made sure they placed the container right where you wanted it. I needed one 16 and one 8 foot container, however the facility at which they were coming from only had 16 foot containers. I was only charged for an 8 foot container for the 2nd container. Had 2 containers in storage until our new build was ready. When I called 7 days prior to the delivery date I needed, I was told that the earliest delivery date would be about 30 days beyond that as they weren't prepared for an influx of moves from where my containers were stored. After calling back, I was given earlier dates, however, those were still far from when I needed the containers. I emailed "moving help" and "marketing" on the Pack-Rat site. A day later I received a call and delivery was set for the days I needed. They went above and beyond to resolve the delivery dates. Thank you customer service! I would defiantly use Pack Rat again for another move!

Pod was a little shorter than described when I ordered it. It will require me to get another pod or truck the remainder to Arizona.

The driver who dropped off and picked up was great. Everyone I talked to on the phone was very gracious. The container did not hold what the website said it would.

I have the 16 foot, filled it up with only 2 bedrooms, family room, etc.etc. It was an older one but the inside was dry and semi clean.

Good, but our truck driver took out the neighbors satellite. They need to be more careful.

Arrived on time, clean and ready to go. This company was a pleasure to work with from the first call to when they picked up the fully loaded pod. They have a great communication process and we knew what to expect and when to expect it. This was a very easy company to work with and we would use them again if we ever move again. We really do not want to move again!

Pack-Rat was very accommodating to additional scheduling/pods that were required to ship all of my items to the out-of-state destination. They were efficient and respectful of my requests.

I had to unpack 1/3 of pack rat upon pick-up because it was too heavy over 6000 pounds. As a customer you have no idea how much things weigh. I filled the container and then unloaded so they would pick it up. Not a good system at all. I had t use a moving company too.

The Pack-Rat pod service was just what I needed. All of my furniture had to be removed in preparation for selling my condo. They delivered the pod the next day. I would use them again.

Did a great job on a difficult road, called ahead, explained things well.

Good communication and helped me solve problems like forgetting a lock or messing up my pick up date.
