They delivered the pod on time, called ahead to confirm. They explained everything upon arrival and showed me how to lock it up. Very easy, but might not be your cheapest option. Also, they don't do any moving...so that's all on you to organize.

I was assured that the Pod would hold a 3 bedroom fully furnished house. Didn’t hold a 2 bedroom Condo full. Unless she didn’t consider any boxes.

This is the 2nd time that I used Pack Rat for a move, and I will continue to use them. They are there when they promise to be, pick up on time and are a great value. The container was clean and neat, the blankets were there and I couldn't have been more pleased.

I reviewed them as average as I have never needed these services before. They had to deliver the pod 2 times as the first one was damaged and door didn’t work properly. It took quite a bit of time to get that second pod. The availability for pick up after you have loaded your things is also a problem. Nearly a week is too long. Also the delivery time to my destination in Florida is an extraordinarily long time, causing much stress and difficulties in planning. I think this service can be improved by a long way. Also I thought the container was unusually small for what I told them I needed. I was unable to get everything into the container. Seems like they stretch the service time out in order to charge you additional monthly rental fees

Pack-rat was always on-time. They sent reminder emails and phoned to confirm pick-up schedules. They were always courteous and helpful on the phone, taking the time to explain. We were able to "visit" our container to retrieve some boxes while they were in storage without a hitch. The workers dropping off and picking up the containers knew what they were doing and navigated driveways easily. All our belongings arrived without damage! The whole process was very suitable for our type of move from California to Oregon. I heartily recommend them. We used two containers and had them delivered a month apart so we could fill them on our schedule.

Pack Rat provided two pods initially for the move. They were professional and on time. When I needed a 3rd container for the very next they, they promptly delivered and picked up all 3 pods in a timely fashion. Very satisfied with the initial delivery and pick up of the pods. They are storing my furniture until I find my new home so I'll have to review the remaining portion of the project for after delivery. So far, very satisfied.

Kevin George was the driver for 1800PACKRAT who brought the empty 16' unit to us and picked it back up when it was loaded. He arrived and picked the unit back up as I had scheduled it. He was really professional but yet personable. He reminded me of a young Darryl from The Walking Dead :) It was interesting to see him hook the unit up and move it up on his truck. We he drove off, he was slow going out of the driveway and up the street. They will be storing it for a month until our house is ready. This process also went smoothly which made the hectic job of moving, not as hectic.

Third time using them. Think that says something for itself. Excellent service and care. Drivers are the BEST! I used storage also. Very easy to have access to your container. Cost very fair.

They didn't pack the 12 blankets I ordered. Other than that they were very professional and on time for pickup and delivery.

Service was completed as requested. Communications with the company was split between customer service for the movers and customer service for billing, so communications were a little sketchy. Also, watch out for transportation charges listed in the fine print. I negotiated upfront with my salesman to have those charges eliminated from my contract, but I had to make phone calls to the billing dept to get charges removed in the end. So, billing was a hassle. But, The drivers and delivery service was excellent.

I booked 2 16' moving pods to be picked up in the Boston area. One pod went to SC, one to FL. Both pods were delivered and picked up when promised. They drivers were friendly and courteous. The pods were clean. Booking through the web site was easy and when I called with questions the customer service agents were very helpful.

I highly recommend using pack rat containers, as they are metal construction and very secure. Delivery is great.

Very friendly driver, placed the container exactly where I requested and explained how to open and offered a few tips on loading techniques. The container was in good condition. I reviewed all the competitors and decided on Pack Rat due to the type of doors and the all steel box. I booked on line and found thier website easy to use. I will be using Pack Rat again.

This was my first experience with using this type of transportation/storage and it was good. We used two containers and both were in good condition. Setting up drop off and pick up appointments was very easy and the drivers always showed up within the time given and were careful and polite. I did have an issue getting one full container picked up (it needed to be removed from the property and 1800PackRat didn't have a truck available) but when I called and pleaded my case, they managed to find a way to get the container picked up. I really appreciate their willingness to help and will recommend to anyone to use 1800PackRat.

Container was delivered and picked up on time. The container was as advertised, except not quite as tall as advertised. If we'd been counting on those inches, it could have been an issue. Also, there was a fuel subsidy charge of $6.26 on our invoice, which was not disclosed in the quote for the pickup fee. I did not appreciate the surprise!! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Our long distance move was beyond our expectations. All of our stuff arrived with no damage. Just the way we packed it three months ago. I was especially happy with all the drivers that delivered and picked up our containers. They represented Pack Rat well!!! Will use PR again.
