This is the second time I used packrat. These guys have helped me move from Chicago to Northern California, then from Northern California to Southern California. The drivers have always been professional and accommodating and professional. My driver Mike even waited for me when I was having issues with the delivery location. We needed a 16 ft container with storage, and they were the lowest priced each time. If I need to move again, I'm definitely calling them up.

Everything was stored for 18 months and arrived in perfect condition.

Harvey and Juan did a great job. Showed up on time. Unloaded the container in less than two hours, and were very pleasant to work with.

Container delivery, placement and pick-up was exactly as needed. Container was in very good condition and driver was friendly and courteous.

The storage container came when promised, was installed correctly in our driveway, and was a good size for what we had to store, based on the recommendation of the company. Only problem was that it was supposed to be 8' tall, and with the inside bracing was about six inches shorter. This could make a difference to some people depending on how much you have to store.

Delivered the POD on time and the driver was outstanding. It was obvious, he know what he was doing.

Pensacola warehouse was below average. Pack rat needs to find another.

I had to store my belongings for 3 months before I could move into my new house. PackRat containers were perfect for the job. They were housed in a climate controlled warehouse, so my furniture was in great shape when it was delivered. Only problem was that one container door did not shut and lock properly, so some shifting occurred and a door opened. A table was damaged due to falling out of the container, but I am in the process of filing that claim. Overall a great experience, and praise for the warehouse agents who worked with me when needed.

A very pleasant gentleman delivered my container.It was clean and had the pads I had requested. Everyone I talked to prior to delivery was very polite and helpful

The EMPLOYEES, who are the on ground, real life workers, are excellent and professional, on time, skilled,personable, and knowledgeable. VERY helpful. The BUSINESS COMPANY seemed shady. Constantly we were over charged!! At first I couldn't get anyone to answer at the call center. I had to FB message them and finally was answered. Save your emails and record your interactions to prove your original agreed upon transportation fees or else you'll unknowingly be over charged hundreds of dollars. The POD was clean,sturdy, roomy and easy to pack. We used HireAHelper to pack our 16ft pod and our belongings survived a 1500 mi. move unscathed. I'd use PackRats again if they'd improve their call center and business contracts and not make it easy to overcharge customers. Original quote 2400/ billed 3200+, some $ was refunded. Storage quote 235/ billed 295.

Wonderful container that did exactly what I needed it to. Drivers were courteous and pleasant to deal with.

The problem was in delivery and pickup. My container was in storage for 41 months at $200/month. Transportation cost was $1335. $50 for morning deliver and $50 for afternoon pickup. I had told them through several documented calls, that I needed the grinder for the lock, because my purse was stolen and my key was in it. They arrived without it. They could not make the effort to get one to me. I went to a construction site and asked the project manager to help. He came over with a grinder! Then, after I paid an additional $50 to pickup the container same day, because another move in was scheduled after me, they scheduled the container pickup anytime up to 5:30 pm. This was not my understanding. It caused a huge inconvenience for the people coming in after me and the property is going to possibly fine me! You would think that after the considerable amount of money that I have paid to this company that they would have gone out of their way to help me. I never will recommend them! The driver of the container was exceptional! His hands were tied by his office. He did what he could.

First half, container scheduling and drop was cheerfully and professionally handled. Our driver was top notch and efficient.

Although the service they provided was good I difficultly getting a hold of a customer representative in the beginning.

This method of transportation was perfect for us, as we needed to store our furniture for several months before moving cross-country.

Wow, this entire event started and ended with professional service. Detail and clear direction was given to us at every turn. I needed to change my unpack date at the end of all of this. Not a problem. One call and the details followed into my email box. Use these people. I have to say, the entire event was made VERY easy for my husband and myself. Very professional.

Amazing customer service.

Had a long distance move with 4 containers. All containers made it to my new home in a timely fashion. I would use them again as the total cost was approximately 2000 dollars less than the moving company estimates I received.

Had to have one container replaced as it could not be securely closed. That was a bit of a challenge. Drivers were super nice, but not all were as careful to level the containers as others. Overall, though, a good experience.

From start to finish, my experience with 1-800-PACKRAT was positive. Their prices were the best I found and their ability to accommodate my moving needs were excellent. I was impressed both with the phone service staff and the actual delivery people. All were pleasant and responsive to any questions or concerns. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.

Our driveway was a challenge but William had no problem precisely maneuvering our pod in the exact spot that was most convenient for us. He was professional, pleasant and polite. Awesome! 0 for the CALL CENTER !! NO call backs, NO humans answer, once you're "assigned" your Team Coordinator.. You're on your own. Good luck! ... We haven't moved yet. NOT looking forward to trying to get POD delivered. Packrats will respond on FB messenger but won't have details of your account... They forward you to call center lol

So far so good. Everything about PakRat is coordinated, timely, they keep in touch. Slick operation. I was impressed. Now, hoping at my long distance move destination all arrives safely and this will be a company I definitely would recommend over and over.

Very poor communication on delivery schedules.

This is the way to go. The communication was very good and they did what they said they would. They dropped off and picked up the containers as agreed.

Easy peasey. Easily the best way to move .... Zero stress!!! The pod was delivered (with a courtesy call an hour before arrival) as promised. Zero damage to driveway .... Drivers were professional and pleasant!!! I highly recommend!!!! Dan

Delivery driver was very helpful and answered several questions, as did the booking agent. Container probably could have been swept out by not a big deal to me. I chose PackRat for the convenience as I was unsure if I was going to have to store the containers for a couple of weeks. I would definitely use them again.
