PakRat dropped off and picked up the containers in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone.

This was the best move ever and I have moved 23 times in the fifty years I have been married. The condition of the trailer was good. Customer service booking, pickup and drop off was efficient and quick. I was referred by my son in law. I would definitely use them again but hope I don't move again.

I booked PakRat for my transportation need given that I needed both moving and storage services. I compared several options and PakRat had the best size container and pricing for my job, which was a four bedroom house moving out of state.

The only company that gave me a senior citizen discount. Had furniture pads included that the other one did not. Very respectful of placement of pods for convince of unloading. I had two containers at two different times on the front end and both delivered on the same day on final end.

Unbelievably efficient company. They have it down to a science. Their driver Sandy Maurice Wall was right on time, and a truly marvelous representative of Pack Rat. A great experience.

This will be the third time we will have used Pack Rat for a move/storage and they have never let us down. The container arrived on time, and left on time. It is always a pleasure working with them. My only comment would be the container we received this last time was a little more rusted and warn than the other two.

The major problem with Pack Rat is they don't put enough stuff in writing for a long distance move. There is no Web site to watch progress. They give you a counselor whom you never hear from again. They bill you without notifying you what you are paying for....yes, they might have told me months ago, but it is hard to remember and the paperwork is not easy to put your hands on. I had an issue that was passed to a "Resolution Manager." He refused to talk to me. The he sent an email from his PackRat account and added Do Not Reply to the subject line. Two of my three containers were rusty. One had holes in it I covered with packing tape. All three had seams visible to the outside air. We didn't have any damage, so perhaps we got lucky. There is one highlight. They pickup and deliver on schedule. The local warehouses are prompt and courteous. They send out professionals who know their business.

Everything from booking the container, to the delivery of the container and pick up of the container was great. We are storing the container at the Pack-Rat facility and once our things are delivered, we hope to never have to use them again but will definitely recommend them.

Easy to arrange and easy to pack.

Everything they did was exceptional. They went more than out of their way to accomodate my move.

Oscar, the driver was great. The only issue was that he was late by about 45 minutes from our agreed upon arrival time. The reasons that this was an issue was that we were at a storage facility, and I had hired packers for a 2 hour (prepaid and prescheduled) specific timeline. This was probably my fault also, as they would have delivered the "pod" at basically, whatever time I had requested. So for all of you reading this, don't try to cut it too close. It does take time to get the truck lined up and the pod off-loaded, so (IF I) had not tried to schedule so tightly, this issue would not have happened. AND Oscar made up for it by offering, without being asked, to stay while my loaders loaded the pod (this, I am sure, is what made sure that the storage facility didn't make a fuss over the container being there and blocking basically the entire aisle, we were all in, loaded, and gone in 2 hours. This company was the ONLY ONE that would deliver on a Saturday, that would agree to a specific delivery and pick-up window for the same day, and that could and would drop off at a storage facility without the unit being in the very front for FULL ACCESS. If you are moving items out of a storage facility, I highly recommend PACK RAT. The person I spoke with on the phone, Debbie, was fantastic, she was very courteous, informative, and friendly. I have working with and speaking with TOO MANY moving companies, and moving logistical people as I am moving my entire household to Arizona, as well as sending my daughter her things to Minnesota (this part of our move), and Debbie was a pleasure to speak with, work with, determine costs and logistics for this pod. She made what I was beginning to feel was a nightmare go very smoothly. AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT - PACK RAT was the LOWEST in price! and even if I needed to store the pod for any length of time, their rental price was only $50 more per month than my storage unit at the storage facility. WOW! Debbie, Oscar, and the others from PACK RAT were FANTASTIC. Thank you all for making at least a portion of my BIG MOVE so smooth and easy. Easiest and most stress free way to move.

Everyone was very professional and courteous. They didn't hassle me when I wanted to cancel one of the pods I ordered and they were very knowledgeable about what things I would need for my move, e.g. furniture pads, etc. I would have liked to know that the truck could not get up a steep driveway, but the driver placed the pod in such a way that it was very close to a very curved sidewalk and didn't stick out in the street. They were able to pick the pod up the next day, even though I was originally going to keep it an extra day. I would use them again.

The devil you know is better then devil you do not know. Packrat is acceptable but their customer services and policies seem to move around. It cost us 3600 to move my 3 16' units from Cary, NC to Mclean VA

Needed 2 pods instead of 1, but they delivered then on time for the packers.

The PACK-RAT unit we rented was huge and easy to pack. The drop off driver gave us great suggestions too. I feel at peace knowing that our belongings are in good hands with PACK-RAT storage. When they said that they would arrive to drop off or pick up, they were right there on time. I couldn't be happier.

There was a leak in the pod and I had damage to the master bedroom woman's dresser top surface. Also the mattress had water on top of it but fortunately I had put it in plastic which protected it. I notified the company immediately and they were responsive to send me a claim form right away. I will not file it until I have finished unpacking and I'm sure there is no further damage. Their customer service was quick and appropriate. The unit appeared clear but evidently had space at the very front where the leak appeared.

Perfect cross country move. Nothing broke. Even my 79" x38" glass covered embroidered picture survived. Must know how to pack properly though. I used 26 ratchets and boards and good boxes.
