Really nice worker dropped off the container. It was a tight squeeze and we'll end up with a little bit of stuff that didn't fit, but this product is totally worth it if you can't move directly from one place into the next. For example, I have a month of down time in between.

Used PackRat for a long distance move from northern VA to NC. Because of closing schedules, we had a 3 week gap between loading in VA and unloading in NC, so the included 1 month of storage was perfect. Two containers delivered on time (at both ends). They were very large and easy to load. Be sure to pack the containers tight and use tie-downs to keep your things secure for travel. The drivers in both DC and NC were very friendly, and they were helpful in getting the containers optimally oriented in the driveway. We chose PackRat because of the large container size and relatively low cost vs. competitors. Would definitely use again.

Dismissive of the size of the load thereby allowing an overload situation by over 4000 lbs. This "oops" basically doubled the cost of the move and quadrupled the stress in the final 24 hrs to closing the sale of my home. Do not use PackRat if anywhere near a full load. A single 26 ft truck would have been my better option at half my final cost to a cross country move. According to the first driver that attempted the pickup, this is not unusual regardless what corporate may say.

I was very impressed by how calm & helpful the folks were at 1800PackRat. It sure made a big difference to me (because I tend to freak when there's a lot of logistics like this at the last minute). They handled everything, and it made all the difference to me.

They kept us informed at every step of the way and never missed a date or time. Our stuff arrived in the same shape as we packed it and their personnel were very professional and courteous.

They arrived when they were scheduled and the pickup of full containers was right on time too. They called to confirm each way.

This company made my cross country move a breeze. They were flexible and helped to accommodate my requests, and worked with me to get the best price they could offer. I would use them again for a cross country move that included storage.

Really like the drop off guy - he had a challenging time dropping off because our Apartment complex parking lot layout. he got the job done.

The only good thing about this company is the driver Raymond who came through when needed. Everyone else from the sales department to service deparment to management department fell through. I would not recommend using this company nor would I refer this company to family or friends.

Their container delivery process only allows to offload container straight off the back. If you have a short driveway pods would be a better choice.

They were excellent and I will use them again. Timely, polite, hard workers.

My container is still being stored but the entire process so far has been great! I moved from a downtown area and they were quick and helpful with the drop off and pick up! I would recommend this if you are transporting multiple cars as well (no driving a moving truck).

This was the best move ever and I have moved 23 times in the fifty years I have been married. The condition of the trailer was good. Customer service booking, pickup and drop off was efficient and quick. I was referred by my son in law. I would definitely use them again but hope I don't move again.

I booked PakRat for my transportation need given that I needed both moving and storage services. I compared several options and PakRat had the best size container and pricing for my job, which was a four bedroom house moving out of state.

The only company that gave me a senior citizen discount. Had furniture pads included that the other one did not. Very respectful of placement of pods for convince of unloading. I had two containers at two different times on the front end and both delivered on the same day on final end.

Unbelievably efficient company. They have it down to a science. Their driver Sandy Maurice Wall was right on time, and a truly marvelous representative of Pack Rat. A great experience.

This will be the third time we will have used Pack Rat for a move/storage and they have never let us down. The container arrived on time, and left on time. It is always a pleasure working with them. My only comment would be the container we received this last time was a little more rusted and warn than the other two.

The major problem with Pack Rat is they don't put enough stuff in writing for a long distance move. There is no Web site to watch progress. They give you a counselor whom you never hear from again. They bill you without notifying you what you are paying for....yes, they might have told me months ago, but it is hard to remember and the paperwork is not easy to put your hands on. I had an issue that was passed to a "Resolution Manager." He refused to talk to me. The he sent an email from his PackRat account and added Do Not Reply to the subject line. Two of my three containers were rusty. One had holes in it I covered with packing tape. All three had seams visible to the outside air. We didn't have any damage, so perhaps we got lucky. There is one highlight. They pickup and deliver on schedule. The local warehouses are prompt and courteous. They send out professionals who know their business.

Container was clean, delivered and picked up promptly and everything arrived safely. Container was even in storage for a few months so I was especially pleased that all went well. Customer service was excellent too. I would definitely use them again.

Everything from booking the container, to the delivery of the container and pick up of the container was great. We are storing the container at the Pack-Rat facility and once our things are delivered, we hope to never have to use them again but will definitely recommend them.
