I've had a great experience with PODS. Professional, communicative and responsive. My condo is undergoing extensive renovation so I had to move the contents out. Really like PODS flexibility in being able to choose when you need it dropped off and picked up. Everything went quickly and smoothly. General advice for people utilizing a POD container in multi-family housing parking lots: the container (even the big 16') fits into a standard parking space, but be aware that the parking spaces on either side of the container must be unoccupied at both drop off and pick up. If you're in a condo/apartment situation with reserved parking, make to sure make arrangements with your neighbors to move their cars on the day your POD is delivered or picked up.

POD fit our needs moving cross country

Long delay between completion of load and pick up. Person who unloaded the POD said I could get Monday pick up, pick up is now scheduled for Wednesday.

Pods was great when I booked my move, however it has gone down hill from there. I couldn’t get my furniture delivered when I wanted, when I finally got my delivery date they wouldn’t tell me what time my pods would arrive until the day before, so hiring movers was very difficult. We currently can’t get the pods picked back up for two weeks because someone changed our pick up date, and we have damage to our furniture. Hopefully getting resolution to the damaged furniture will go better than the rest of this transaction.

The only concern we had was we couldn't get a location on the driver as the tail end of our arrival window was closing in. We scheduled movers 1 hour after the window so it made for bit of anxiety. The driver did arrive about 15 minutes late, which was fine but it would have been nice for Pods to be able to provide us an ETA during the 3-hour window period.

They fit so much more than you would think. We had one pod from U-Pack for a small one bedroom and found their service to be excellent. The Pod was delivered and picked up with such ease that I would highly recommend using them for cross country moves. So easy and reasonably priced.

Clean container. Great customer service. I didn't even have to be present for delivery or pick up (which was convenient). I would definitely use them again.

Horrible ability to communicate and solve problems. Showed up late with 2 of my 3 PODs. Paid $100 to guarantee delivery by 10 am when I had hired help. Showed up at 1pm. Paid for help that left!!!

Great job with being on time and placing the pods where needed as neighbor was also moving in.

Pods company was super easy to work with. Every time I called they took their time with me on the phone and were very pleasant to work with. They helped coordinate a long distance move for me and were very knowledgeable about the whole process. They called and emailed confirmation of everything which was very helpful during a busy move. POD was delivered and picked up in the time frame given to me and the drivers were all friendly. I would definitely use this company again.

On time efficient they called before hand to drop off, then to picked up. I will use them again, sadly they do not have a 20 ft container.

So far so good anyway. Reservation help and customer service has been very good. Pod was delivered on time and picked up on time, so hopefully when it reaches our destination we'll feel the same way. 16' Pod holds a LOT of stuff, much more than we ever expected.

Overall very good. Difficult to reach a customer service rep sometimes w/o staying on hold for a long time. Otherwise able to be flexible w/ timing and easy use.

I ordered a 7Ft and they sent a 16ft. I’m trying to get a refund, this review may change. Since they record all calls, they should be able to verify it.

Timely pick up. Timely drop off. Storage container was OK but a bit old / rusted.

Pods were great. They helped me last minute after Pack Rat canceled for no reason. Pack Rat as very rude. would never use them. Pods are very professional. I will Use them again

PODS service has been excellent thusfar. They were on time to drop off the container and pick it up, and helped me repack my POD tremendously when the movers I hired failed to pack my antique furniture adequately.

Moved 2 pods into a tight space.

The process that PODS uses is amazing. The technology used to deliver the POD and pick it up was watched by many of the neighbors. PODS provides a great service at a good price.

The pick up was easy with the driver being on time, and respectful of my property. The container was not as large as I expected by was reassured it would work for me.

Top notch team. Worked diligently and got me packed under the 3 hours and fitted everything in.

Pods was great and it was on time and pickup later then expected but was in their time frame.

They were unable to pick the Pod off my driveway once loaded. I had to call back my loaders to rearrange the Pod.

Great way to move. Eliminated packing into a truck, then unloading into storage, packing again and driving to new home. Excellent way to move!!

Was a easy, and breezy experience. Brian was courteous, professional, and welcomed me into the POD family.

They delivered when they said and picked up when they said and always courteous, kind and helpful. They do their best.

Everything very good and convent. Only problem we had was on delivery of full container. Because of slight incline of driveway, heavy container, degree of turn in drive for final placement and inexperienced driver who lost control of POD hydronic delivery system, we ended up with damage to garage front and roof. Driver reported it on site but no one from POD has contacted us. It’s been 5 days and still no call from PODS. I had to contact them. I still have no detail on what the process will be to get the damage cost settled.

I ORDERED 2 AT Same time when driver came he said he could not put 2 in we measured and it would have worked they should have checked before taking order

Good experience with the pod

every thing is great about the driver, but not the fact that some one was not to come quickly and pick it up.

Good phone service, everything worked out as arranged. Very willing to work with me on changes etc.

PODS arrived right at the times confirmed the evening before. (If you think you will need to put one in the street I'd recommend contacting your City beforehand. We did put one in the street and I had to go to downtown Long Beach for a permit--but it still worked better than putting two PODS in the driveway.) Drivers confirmed as the got near and also confirmed when they picked up and moved PODS to storage. Very happy so far with our move and decision to use PODS .

We were billed twice , which was straitened out immediately.

In order to submit this review we are being asked to evaluate our transportation company POD's. The delivery deserved 5 stars. The POD still needs to be picked up from Florida and delivered to Michigan. So this review is too premature to be useful to anyone.

PODS is wonderful. They dropped the container when requested, they picked up the container when requested, and they stored it and then moved it when requested.
