I used PODS because of the cost compared to regular cross-country movers. The drivers that droped off/picked up the POD at both locations were great. On time and very helpful if placing the POD the way my HOA required. PODS also stored my container for about 2-3 weeks until I was ready for delivery. I'd use this type of mover again and will recommend it to anyone I know that's moving.

So far so good. First experience and very impressed with customer service, customer care and delivery communication.

We had a complicated move as our furniture and belongings were going to several places (one place being completely cross country) and some needed to be stored for several months. We used a local mover to move some items and then they packed our pod with items that were going the longer distance. The pod was delivered on time. Clean and placed in our driveway in the location we requested. It was picked up on our requested date and were notified of the time window for pickup a day in advance. The pod was stored locally. Which meant we had access to it if needed, until we requested it’s delivery to our cross country location. Again , we were kept informed of delivery window. The pod arrived with the delivery window given and placed on the street in front of our home. Our driveway is steep and the pod would have blocked the sidewalk which is why we requested the street placement. Our city required a permit for street placement and we secured that ahead of time. Once the pod was empty, we requested pickup and it was completed within 2 days, again within the given window time frame. The pod delivery people and everyone we spoke to on the phone were all efficient. Overall, a very good experience.

Everything went as planned. Excellent service

Good communication regarding delivery and pick-up. Tried to increase insurance before the first POD was loaded and couldn't because it had been delivered, but was empty at that point. Caused a lot of needless red tape separating orders, adjusting pricing, etc. Increased my stress level which was already pretty high. Then I got an email shortly after the POD was picked up saying my customer advocate wanted to talk to me about my POD "incident". I thought the POD fell off the truck or something with not enough insurance. I called in a panic and couldn't get the guy who sent the email, but was told he wanted to talk to me about the insurance concerns. Have to wait til Monday, now, since this all happened on Friday.

Excellent so far... the customer service and ease of working with PODs in person over the phone and on their site page worked well. The POD arrived at it's first destination and in the position requested. The estimated size was perfect and exactly what we needed. We'll be moving the POD a few more times so we'll be interested on how the packed POD arrives at each destination and if everything arrives in tacked and little movement occurred due to proper packing. So far, so good.

I was very disappointed in the service I received from POD company. They were on time with the delivery but did not place where I requested and POD delivered was damaged - so much so I could not close the door. I spent hours on the phone with their customer service trying to convince them I needed a replacement. I even sent them pictures. This was a Friday and my movers were coming the next morning - I was frantic. The response I received was they could replace the POD if I rented a larger one and of course it was more expensive. I finally got results after becoming a squeaky wheel - I called every hour on the hour telling them to pick it up as I could not use in the condition it was in. They finally sent someone to replace the POD. I would not use them again.

We were building a new home for our clients and had to store some of their belongings due to delays. PODS was responsive and made their deliveries and pickups on time.

It all works out very well even when you are under a lot of pressure to complete packing.

3 16' PODS containers, all delivered on time for loading, picked up exactly when asked, and delivered to the new location on time and damage free.

We searched for moving companies to make our move from CA to WA the costs were crazy high! Then a friend told me about PODS and their great experience. I have to agree, they were terrific! From teh customer service, to the drivers who dropped off/picked up the PODS. Everything happened like clockwork. A few times I needed to call in to confirm timing (mostly because I was so spun with packing!) every time I spoke to someone that was courteous and very helpful. The POD was clean upon arrival. I really enjoyed meeting the drivers! Though we hope we never have to move again!! I would definitely use PODs if we did...I highly recommend PODs.

PODS is the way to go! When I called to place an order for one, the rep was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The contact between myself and the delivery of the POD was excellent. The driver was so nice, because when I got the POD, it was way too small for all I had to pack, so he graciously took the POD back, I called and changed my order to a 16 foot unit, and had it delivered the next day. I love that they are kept in a climate control building. Great concept, so when I am ready to pull out of Jersey for good, I just contact them and away the POD goes. I would highly recommend this company.

Driver was fantastic, very professional, on time.

Using a POD seemed like a good idea for me so I could pack it slowly. I ended up having to use a moving service on each end due to the size of my furniture. If you have personal help moving your items in and out of a POD its great. Plus I underestimated the need for a second POD. I'd definitely do more research before moving again. Basically a POD doesn't work for a single mother/woman unless they have a good network of strong friends.

Everything went as planned and there was not a single hic-cup the whole move. The pod delivery was on time and for delivery and pickup and not a single item was broken in a 3000 mile move because of the the packers that you suggested-just great...space masters. Not that I want to do all this again but if I needed to ... I would not hesitate to use the whole team again. Thank you

Even though they were late due to the previous job they did earlier that day, They called three times to keep me posted on their arrival time.

Completely screwed up the long distance delivery of our storage unit to our new place. Several of our belongings had mold on them including very expensive mattresses and bed frame fabric. Even picking up the empty unit was messed up. We were a return customer renting unit for 38 months so this was very disappointing!!! ??

On time at both locations.

Good, was on time to drop off and pop icky up container. Workers always called to let you know they were on their way and you didn't have to be there for them to pick up or drop off the items. I did have some items scratched/damaged because I did not secure them in place thinking that container would be moving often. Be sure to keep large furniture items in place. Other than that, everything was good and convenient

The Pods were great. Some glitches with the drivers not receiving the correct placement instructions. I always needed to be present to make sure that they put it where we wanted them. Otherwise Pods were great.

Had to get an additional cargo van, didn't fit in the 16 ft POD. I could've gotten a truck and saved money I think, but anyway.

We are and we’re very happy with Pods. They picked up our Pods and stored them until I called them. I then had them transferred to Vegas where they were waiting for us to call and have them delivered. Everything was in its place and nothing was broken. Very happy with the end results!

Best way to move cross country!

I've used PODS before and chose to use them again Their customer service is always great. All moves are stressful and knowing they will come through with everything promised, with no surprise charges at the end, alleviates some of that.

I dont want to review the container company. they did a good job.

The 16' POD was delivered and picked up on schedule on both ends of the move. The POD was very clean, looked like new. Communication online and with the drivers was excellent. I have no reservation in recommending them.

I moved into my apartment in a 12ft POD but unfortunately they don't use those for long distance moves. I decided I'd be better served to save some cash on the transport and storage of my stuff by going with the 7ft POD rather than the 16ft. I had to get rid of some furniture because the 7ft is quite small - about half the length of a parking space - and theres NO WAY I could have packed that thing as expertly as my movers. But I saved $1500 by going with the smaller POD... that will easily replace the furniture I got rid of.

PODS was easy to communicate with and timely.
