The 16 foot Pod was perfect for the number of rooms we were moving...4... The customer service coordinators were absolutely AWESOME!..The delivery driver was very helpful in placing the Pod for easiest access for the packers. We had the Pod delivered at the old address...stored for 2 weeks in their warehouse and then Re delivered to our new address..All without any incidents. I will definitely be using them again if we ever move! I am recommending them to anyone who has an upcoming move as it is easy as 1-2-3????????????
I would happily use PODS again over other moving services. They do their best to meet your schedule, working with short schedules. Tracking online could be better, but visibility is given for major progress markers at least. Quality of packing is up to you and jostling / vibration seems on par or better than what I would expect driving a moving truck over the same distance.
Good luck getting the timing right on your POD. They email you the time frame the night before, when everything is closed and then say its too late to change/modify the delivery/pickup time. I wouldn't have cared, had the person who booked my POD at the company not lied to me and told me that they'd be picking it up last time frame of the day. We barely were able to get everything moved in before they came to pick it up, about 6 hours before the original time frame given when I booked it. Use anyone else if you value your sanity.

PODS worked well for us when we moved to Gig Harbor 10 years ago, which is why I called on them again. But this time the POD did not fit my property as well (foliage grew). More importantly, my order was mismanaged: the POD was not picked up when I ordered it, and my buyer had to reschedule her move-in. Contacting PODS about the bungled pickup was very difficult, as my conversations with PODS were cut off twice when I was placed on hold (my order was mistakenly cancelled). Although the trailer itself was fine and my furnishings arrived without damage, I would not use PODS again.
I moved into temporary house for a couple of months. I am having a home built. So I am using Pods for storage. I am not sure of new location as of yet. So the following questions I can not honestly rate. The young guys they sent were very polite and very good at what they did. Yes I would hire them again no questions asked... Two thumbs up. Great job..
Couldn’t be happier so far. Have moved across country twice with horror stories no on wants to hear. So far, this has been flawless. Your pod goes from point a to point b or c but stays in the container. No transfer or way to have items lost - yes twice with national corporate approved van lines. Highly recommend this as an alternative.
PODS has horrible Customer Service. I called to schedule pick-up of the POD after it was emptied and was advised it was scheduled. They never came to pick the POD up. I called back and spoke to a very rude manager who began to argue with me saying I didn't schedule the pick-up. The manager also threatened to disconnect the call! We've paid PODS thousands of dollars (long-term storage, multiple moves, etc). I'm not providing all of the details in order to keep this review brief. However, I will never use their services again after the horrible Customer Service provided. PODS please train your managers to offer the customer an apology when YOU mess up!
