While happy with Pods and the service I would believe it would have been less expensive and move would have been quicker if I had used a moving company. My move was 1,250 miles. I used 3 16 foot pods. Cost of Pods with cost of hiring helpers to load them, and packing materials (blankets, straps, etc) is going to be close to 10,000.00.

The pick up and drop off went flawlessly. There were a couple of things damaged in the move, but nothing major.

These people know what they're doing!! Hopefully we won't have to move again but if we do, we will use them every time!!

PODs were a great solution for us. We were packing up a small house after living there for 59 years. PODs allowed us to sort and pack over a period of several months, emptying the packed stuff as we progressed and leaving room to continue sorting the remainder. We used 2 16-foot PODs for an 1145 sq ft home. Then PODs transported them to our new home from IL to GA. We especially loved the flexibility in rescheduling PODs as our needs evolved.

Our stuff arrived on time and with little hassle. Even though we packed it carefully, the things move around quite a bit in there. There was nothing irreplaceable lost, but I guess be sure to pack your boxes with lots of space and be ready for contents to shift.

My only concern the driver didn’t turn the POD so the door was facing front—plenty of room! The first delivery was awesome—the second delivery concerning!

Both Pods delivered and picked up right on schedule. We are packing 3 pods-two one weekend and one the next. Putting them in storage for a month. Then unloading them at new house next month. Over 3 weekends. PODS allowed more logical unloading and not leaving piles of boxes in house from moving it all in one day.

The PODS showed up on time, the drivers were incredibly kind and had great personalities. They loaded the containers with care and consideration for my property inside. They communicated any delays quickly and were generally on time. I would highly recommend using PODS for your move!

This is the third time we have used PODS, and we were satisfied again. Sometimes the pricing changes slightly from the quotes in unexpected ways, but in this case we were able to call them and get it all straightened out. We would use them again.

The PODS were delivered when specified. They were clean and placed where they made it easy to access.

Communication with PODS is horrible. The concept is great, but the customer service needs a lot of work. I also think they are taking on too many customers because it seemed like they kept telling me that they couldn't do this or that because they were so busy. Again, great concept, but do something about your customer service and communication with customers.

PODS Storage & Moving was great! It made our transition from being out of one house by the 31st and into another the 1st very easy. I would recommend them and use them again as well.

We're still half way through our move, but so far we've been very impressed with PODS. They have reasonable prices, extremely good customer service, and amazingly flexible scheduling. We've changed our dates three times and they don't mind at all, as long as you give them 24 hour notice.

Great service from beginning to end. The service agents we spoke with on the phone were helpful and able to make all necessary arrangements and answer questions that came up. The POD was delivered and picked-up as promised, on both ends, during the time frame that was set-up. We are pleased with the service and would use a POD container again in future. Recommended.

PODS was what we need for this move, on time, and service was excellent.

Exactly as advertised. They pick it up, and you do not have to be present (just must have the lock on it).

The PODs were good but cost wise, was a bit much. Overall PODS is very convenient and assessable, which is nice to have when you are in limbo with a residence.

POD was delivered on time in the correct location and orientation. It was also picked up on time.

PODs was easy enough to use. I had a large pod and fit my belongings from a one bedroom apartment with room to spare. My only issue was in getting the dates I wanted side - I felt like I was only warned after the fact that the dates were going fast, whereas at first I had been told that it would be easy to change dates if I needed extra time to load it. My belongings all arrived safely to their destination.

PODS was the best solution for me as I was selling my house and moving cross country. It was nice to have my belongings in storage during this process and then everything arrived on time and as promised.

A great option for our move!

Highly recommend using PODS. Everything from the very beginning went smoothly and none of our stuff was broken and it was stored for two months and delivered across three states. We did pack the POD ourselves (and have experience), but I can't say enough good things about how prompt the POD company was. I will say I'm a little annoyed by their continual charges and would rather give a deposit at the beginning and then the final payment rather than getting charged every month or few weeks. Also, one final invoice would be nice to see all the charges. I had to go into my account and click on each invoice to see all the charges. That portion could be improved.

Good containers, positioned ideally for loading and unloading. Would have like ear;ier notice on delivery. PODs great for local moves but probably would NOT recommend for long distance moves involving 2-lane mountain roads. Had to pay premium for short notice (1 week, due to 10 escrow).

Both POD containers arrived on time and as expected. Both teams in South Elgin and Holiday were professional and I would highly recommend moving with a POD container.

We had a great experience using PODS for our move from Murrells Inlet, SC to Chapel Hill, NC. It was so convenient to have a POD we could directly move items into as we packed and then get a fresh one when we filled that one up. We ended up using 3 PODS and things worked like clockwork as far as the dropping off and picking up. The drivers were professional and friendly and efficient. We are hoping this is our last move, but we would definitely go with PODS again in the future. All the containers were clean and in great working order. It was a great experience!

Failed to deliver a second container on time. We lucked out, packed everything into one, and were able to cancel another.

PODS is excellent and has a great customer service however the reason I am giving 4 stars is because I have already my container loaded but they do not have anyone to move the container up until 9 days more, do not get me wrong they are trying to free some space so It can be moved sooner but yet I believe that availability is important.

This is my first time moving with PODS. They've been very helpful on the phone and each driver has been pleasant and on time.

This is a difficult situation to review, as the problem stems from the fact that there are two vendors involved: Hire a Helper and Pods. Pods said I would only need two pods, Hire a Helper initially thought they would get everything into just one, but at the end of the day was unable to get everything into the two Pods. Given that the house closing was the very next day, and that the only option Pods was able to offer was for me to rent a third Pod, but they couldn't get that to me in time to matter, I was left with no options. We had to give away over $800 in good furniture away. As we are moving to Florida, hiring a U-Haul to get it there would have cost more than the furniture. So, final conclusion, either don't use Pods again, or don't use Hire a Helper, as I had no inkling this would happen to me until it was too late to do anything about it. The actual loaders were good guys, the business approach turns out to have a fatal flaw.
