The men who deliver the Pod to the house were great! The customer service was terrible multiple times! One entered wrong information and my POD was delivered to San Antonio instead of Austin area. At first they wanted me to pay to have it moved to the correct address. When paying my monthly storage bill, their website wouldn't work correctly. I called for months and for their IT to fix it. It was NEVER taken care of!!! I had to mail my bill in or call every month and pay by phone. Which is definitely do able. But for such a large company I would think that should have been corrected wirhin 1 or 2 days. When it was time to have my POD container delivered to my Austin home, it was a nightmare!!!! Severe with no communication!!! They could not get the order to work thru their website!!!! I had to call 8 times and nobody could get the order to go thru!!! I was not allowed to have the phone number of POD Storage facility where my container was and nobody from there would call me, even though I requested a few times for her to! It was the worst service by far of any company I've known!!! I will never use them again and will definitely tell everyone I know, not to use them.

On time and very professional.

PODs is a great company. The whole process was easy. The people on the phone were nice and the the drop off and pick up drivers were polite and efficient and competent. All questions were answered with no problems. The POD was in good condition and the trucks looked brand new. They did not rush and were very careful when putting down and picking up the POD. They took pride in their work and seemed to be happy doing it. I would use them again.

Delivered on time took care of a slight locking problem in a timely manner. Cannot answer other questions because pod was just picked up today.

Worked perfectly since I did not know what my schedule was going to be!

Two weeks before I set up delivery of two pods. I got city permits to leave them on the street, which included insurance etc. While the pods were being unloaded, and the day before I booked movers at $165/hr. they decided they did not want to leave them on the street. They put them back on the truck and went away. Then they said they were pretty booked and I had to wait to get another slot. Now you see their agreed timeframe for delivery is "8:30-1:30" so with one day delivery you could be paying 5 x $165 for movers to sit around waiting on top of paying for the job. Then they say you have to have it empty by the time they come back. when is that you ask? Could be 2pm, "whenever the driver finishes his deliveries, he starts his pickups. SO what are you supposed to do? THEN they called and said I would have to pay $200 for changing the delivery date. I put a block on my debit card. These guys are awful cowboys. Let me add that my boxes are mouse infested and there is mold on my furniture. I paid extra for climate controlled. HA!

Andre & Jordan were very professional and did a great job. They faced a challenging situation in completing a load-in to a partially loaded pod that required me to prioritize which items were most important. They managed to get nearly all of my "must have" items inside, which seemed rather miraculous to me. They completed the job in the time allotted, were careful with my items and were very pleasant.

Did a good job overall and I recommend them. With a long distance move you have to call them and they take a while to deliver, 10 days in my move. Also, they were limited as to when they deliver and pick up the POD.

PODS would have received a 5 star rating from my except for a major snafu in the scheduling process. When my POD was ordered for 6 September, somehow the year was changed to 2021... Needless to say when I called the automated voice line to see when my POD was going to be delivered, I about had a heart attack. Then I called a live person at PODS and they told me that my POD was scheduled for delivery on 6 September... then I asked "Could you tell me the year?" and that is when my adventure really turned bad as they too, confirmed that the POD was scheduled to deliver in 2021. They weren't sure how it happened as they only can book a POD 12 months out or sooner. Thankfully I had a day of flexibility and they were able to deliver the POD to my house the next day (7 September) but at least they managed to recover from the 2021 debacle. Once the POD came, they put it right where it needed to go, picked it up when it was ready, and delivered it to the new place without issue. Like I said, it would have gotten 5 stars, except for the 2021 issue with the order. Everything else was great.

Used PODs for a long distance move. Initial delivery and pick-up was smooth and easy, every step after that was frustrating. Very poor communication between drivers and support staff, hard to schedule redelivery which resulted in additional storage charges, and charge for redelivery was over twice the estimate for some reason. Would try their competitors, or just sell most of my property, rather than use them again. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because at least our property was undamaged when we finally got it, and because the initial driver was excellent.

I've used them for both of my long distance moves and their always professional, on time, and convenient.

FANTASTIC!!!! Better than FANTASTIC!!! The experience was effortless, and they kept asking if there was more to do. I hire 4 experienced movers for 2 hours which was perfect. I packed kitchen items, 2 moved items to our POD and the 4th stacked and organized the unit. I couldn't have had a better experience.

Now as far as PODS is concerned, do your research. The PODS people on starting end sucked. Late, wrong info, and even missed a pickup date. The only reason why they get 3 stars is because the MD end was flawless.

We've used this company multiple times. They are great! You can make all arrangements -- and even change them -- easily over the internet. We used a 7' pod to move our housing essentials to last 6 months, and put the remainder of our 3 BR 2 BA house (incl. lots of stuff from the garage) on two 16' pods. Thanks to our awesome movers -- Frugal Movers -- we had ample space.

So far so good - everything is in storage - POD was safely delivered and placed on my site and removed safely also. Employees were very nice and polite.

Not happy that dispatch did not note correct time for pickup. Still waiting for them to pick up container. Up to that point, happy with service. Drivers very capable and nice

Had 2 pods delivered/ 1st delivery was perfect/2nd delivery was not so good.. Unable to get pod in driveway, swing it around, wheelies in the driveway where attempting place pod down...final recommend he park in street, ran over the curb and more swinging of the pod...driver of 2nd pod was impatient and not very professional

My POD was delivered as scheduled and gently and meticulously placed in my driveway.

So far has been a great experience with PODs except beware - their large size will in no way fit a "normal 3 bedroom house".

The pods arrived for loading on time. They were easy to load. Arrived to be unloaded on time and were remarkably in tact. Be sure to use tie downs and blankets for long distance travel.

PODS was a life-saver for us since we were moving across the country. The 7' container we got had more than enough room to fit our 3 seater couch along with other furniture and lots of boxes! There were really only two downsides to our experience- the cost and the fact that they showed up to take our container early in the morning despite a customer service representative assuring me that she would request an afternoon or evening pick up.

When called to deliver the pod, was told it would take 10 days. Took 23 days. I do not recommend anyone use a pod for a move.

The POD container is proper size for my need. It arrived clean and good condition. The customer service was excellent.

Custom service personnel were very pleasant and helpful each time I called. The first 16 foot POD was delivered on time and was very clean. The drivers were very cheerful, knowledgeable, and efficient, The mechanism for lifting and depositing the POD vertically is an engineering marvel. They suggested a position to place the POD that I hadn't thought of and made access very convenient from both the garage and front door of our house. I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Can't comment on the second POD yet.

I would never recommend PODS to friends after my experience. Delays were numerous and poorly explained, wrong information was given, they couldn't tell me whether they'd picked up my POD at my old address a full week after it had been initially scheduled for pickup. No call the night before (as they promise) to tell me my 3 hour delivery window when the pod was delivered. Poor customer service and a "We don't care, it's our busy season" attitude. A real bummer all around.

POD was delivered and picked up exactly on schedule. Customer service was excellent. All goods arrived in perfect condition. The moving company recommended by POD Transportation to unload were excellent. Great experience.

Double charge wrong container. Order a 16' received a 12'. Had to wait a full weekend.

PODS was great. We weren't confident that our valuables were packed very well and were sure everything was going to be broken when we moved in--but nothing broke! They made dropping off and picking up the POD easy. The only thing that could have been better was more notice about when our POD would be delivered but other than that it was perfect for us!

Everything went according to plan, and our household goods were in good condition, except that some pieces (especially our leather sofas) arrived with a mildewy odor. Nothing was broken, but we packed our things ourselves. We were surprised and disappointed that the pod was not picked up on the scheduled day, today.

Easy and worry free. I've never moved out of state and everyone involved has been very helpful and knowledgeable.
