Very efficient and not too expensive

Ordered one 16 foot container and one 12 foot container. Both cost the same. When I asked the dispatcher if there was any disadvantage to having extra space she said that things could move around if too much room. After all, we needed 2 16 foot containers and had to rent a truck to move the rest of our things. Our movers said there is no disadvantage to having too much room as they can strap things in so they won't move around.

This is the fourth time I have used PODS. They are reliable, and on time. I will continue to use them for long distance moves.

Easy to schedule, delivered on-time, and cost-effective. Moving from San Jose, CA to Woodinville, WA. PODS is storing our 2 containers for 2 1/2 months.

This transportation/storage option worked very well for the size and distance of our move because we were in between escrows and had to move out of the house we sold 9 days before escrow on our new house closed. We used the largest POD for our 2 Bdrm w/ a garage condo and it worked although it was tight. Once it was loaded, they picked it up and stored it at their local storage facility until we were ready to move into our new home. The condition of the container was perfect - clean and in excellent condition. The customer service during booking, pick-up and drop-off was very professional, true to their word. We received a call with the estimated time of arrival to drop-off or pick-up the day before and they always arrived in the time estimated with time to spare. We also received a call from the driver when he was 15 to 30 mins away. I would definitely use PODS again and would recommend them to family and friends.

Overall experience was great. The Broomfield, CO dispatch did not update their information. So when the drivers called for drop off and pick up we confirmed our address. Both times they would have gone to the wrong place if we had not spoken up.

The original Pod delivery driver was very courteous and accommodating to help find a way to "make it work" with POD placement in a narrow alley. Upon delivery 5 months later to my new location, the POD was put exactly where I requested it to be and pick up was also on time.

Needed to place the pod in a different place. Put it in the driveway and worker was very careful of neighbor's property and mine. He assessed the situation, placed the pod, and did an excellent job. Pod came in specified window of time and I'd recommend PODS which I found online.

POD delivered on time, stored and picked up on time.

After speaking with several consultants at Pods, they assured me that their 12 foot container would be the ideal size for the move, I decided to get the 16 foot container based on my own instinct and it still wasn't large enough for our 2 bed 2 bath condo move. It caused a HUGE hassle on the day of the move to go get an additional storage unit, a U Haul and move the rest of the items ourselves because we had already kept our movers for 6 hours! Very displeased with their estimates.

Showed up on time and received early notifications. The drivers were very polite and knowledgeable explaining how to use the POD.

The Pods arrived and were picked up on time. They were responsive to my request to change my pod storage from local to out of state. The transport of my pods was prompt as well. All of my belongings were just as they were when placed in the pod. No damage.

PODS are so wonderful. Easy to arrange, move, set up, get access to, etc. Everything about them is effortless.

The estimation of container size was grossly wrong. Even after doublechecking that a single 16 ft container was enough, they were confident it was. We've filled the 16 foot container and are renting a 20 ft uhaul to finish the job which will lead to renting a storage unit after we move to Texas.

we feel the transportation was great. We had problems with the load shifting and took 30 minutes to try to get the door open. Our pods delivery person helped. however we felt he could have helped more on some aspects. We would still recommend pods. We felt the over all experience was great.

Well it held alot for its size. I would recommend pods adding a few places to tie up in the smaller pods. My stuff almost fell out when unpacking.

The pickups and drop offs are reliably on schedule, and the drivers are capable and courteous. Customer service was also very helpful and much more flexible than I anticipated.

We rented a 16 foot container. It was delivered and then picked up exactly as said. It hasn't 't been delivered to our destination yet so I can't review that part yet.

What a lifesaver using Hire A Helper. The two young men that came were on time, polite, friendly and did an outstanding job pack up my PODS. I wish I would have used them to pack our first POD. They amazed me on how well they packed the POD making sure to pack all the things that were the most important to me and then some. Leaving no wasted space. I would definitely use them again.

The PODS concept and execution is fabulous! So convenient and flexible. We used their system for a move from our primary residence to two new separate locations, one across town (one PODS) and one cross-country (2 PODS). What a wise decision on our part! Easy to work with, fantastic customer service, and FLEXIBILITY.

The POD company delivered and picked the POD when they said they would without incident. The store furniture also was received in the same condition they were in when initially loaded.

These guys are amazing! I was disappointed and concerned when they rescheduled the load time. However, they arrived prior to the reschedule time and completed the job, fitting all my items in the POD and made recommendations for items safe storage. Would use them again!

Lots of credit to the PODs delivery and pick up drivers. They we all courteous and called to let us know when they would arrive. They took great care to ensure no damage to the driveway and surrounding grass area. Our POD was in good condition and no water damage which is one of the things we worried about most. We used One 16' POD

Great communications. On time and competent.

They are fine for some people. But I found out too late that they do not deliver to my zip code. Now I have to drive 4 hours to their closest base and move all my stuff into a uhaul truck and drive it to my location.

The PODS container experience was excellent. The container was clean and easy to access. The drivers at both ends were quick, efficient, and courteous. There was some confusion on my part about billing, but the customer service rep on the phone made sure everything was right with billing.

Probably will look somewhere else next time

Picking up the container from my starting point was great and on time. Delivering the unit was not so great. I was told between 11:15 and 2:15p. I did not receive it until after 4pm.

Worked out great as my move was open ended.

The containers are sturdy and hold up in all weather. Deliveries, pickups, and transport were all on time

Long wait times to talk to PODS. Made service poor

PODS worked well for us. We moved often in the past between cities and had observed professional packers and loaders. So we packed in a lot of paper and padding when boxing breakables. I think we had less damage then when we had name brand moving companies move us. We used professional hire a helper to load the heaviest furniture on the 2nd pod. We would use PODS again

The PODS people on the phone and the actual delivery men clearly don't have an understanding of what each other do. The operators on the phone assured me of delivery into my driveway, even after I gave them dimensions on the phone. When the delivery man go there it couldn't be done. They wanted me to only get one 16 ft pod, I felt that would be too small so I ordered a 7 ft pod. Even the 7 and 16 ft pods together were too small. I feel like the operator on the phone was just trying to make a quick sale without listening to what I was explaining to him. The result was we ran out of space, had to wait for another pod to be delivered, and had our pod sitting in the street which was dangerous for my stuff because the street is narrow and my pod could have been hit by a car.

On time and delivered on goods!
