POD's is a wonderful way to move! It is a much cheaper way to move rather than using a moving company. I hired a crew who were knowledgeable about packing a pod, and i saved even more. They were flexible when I wanted a smaller POD with just a little notice. I wish I had considered POD with my last move. I would use them again and recommend others to use them

I really appreciated the accessibility of the PODS staff via telephone to clarify and reassure me throughout this long distance move. Although there was a "hiccup" in one leg of the journey (my POD did not leave the original city as planned) I still give them a 5 star rating due to their overall customer service and communication. Phone calls, text messages and emails all confirming important information gave me peace of mind that things were going as I expected and planned. The drivers were very helpful, courteous and informative as well as experts at handling the equipment with precision. I chose this company because I liked the flexibility of all the arrangements - the ability to alter dates, times and deliveries. That is priceless in keeping stress to a minimum. My next move I will DEFINITELY use PODS again!

I used PODS because they are a well-known name in the moving industry. Never Again. We moved from Florida to Texas. The day our container was scheduled to be delivered, PODS called to tell us the truck broke down in Mobile, AL. Instead of sending another truck to pick up my container, they let it sit in Mobile, AL, with the broken down truck, for over a week, waiting for the truck to be repaired. To make matters worse, instead of being honest and telling us our container was stranded in Mobile, every time we called (yes, we had to keep calling them. They couldn't be bothered to call us to update us on our late delivery), they at first told us the truck was repaired the day after our scheduled delivery and was delivered to the local PODS facility; and that it would be delivered to our new home the next day (2 days late - I was okay with that), then when that day rolled around and still no container - they said the delivery wasn't scheduled in the system so the earliest they could get it to us was 3 days later. That's when I got angry. Then the day before the latest scheduled delivery, we found out that the the truck was STILL IN MOBILE, AL! The local PODS facility gave us the number to the Resolution Dept and FINALLY, someone started calling us back and keeping us updated. Of course, it's all excuses of why they couldn't get another truck to pick up the containers instead of letting them sit in a auto repair shop for over a week. We finally got our container over a week late. I would never use PODS again, and I absolutely would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

We needed two pods containers for our move. They are built well and kept clean. Customer service was great and very helpful throughout the process. Scheduling was a breeze. Didn't have to be home for pick-up or drop-off. I would definitely use them again.

Received email with estimate time window, received recorded message as well. Received call from driver letting me know he was on the way. POD arrived with in time window given. Driver courteous, set up POD quickly.

PODS did overall fine, my only gripe would be they weren't able to drop my POD on the date I really needed it. I wish they would work on narrowing down their delivery windows.

Transportation option worked well, container was in good shape, yes - I would use them again.

PODs has been prompt and efficient in delivery and pick-up of all of our containers. Their customer service personnel are always helpful and courteous, and the on-line notification system is very informative.

We used 3 containers. They did a great job; came when I needed another container, answered all my questions. Worked with me at my new location when I had special requests.

Best way to move ever! No need to stress yourself with renting a truck or hauling loads by yourself when these guys are around.

Overall, I had a good experience with the PODS storage container. There were a couple of small issues. The container was delivered incorrectly the first time, but they fixed it for free. Then on the 2nd drop off, the dates got mixed up and they almost delivered the POD too early (before I actually owned the new home I was moving into). Even though the professional movers did their best to tie everything down, the contents still shifted a three or four small items broke. The customer service was excellent and they took care of every problem that they could. I would still highly recommend the PODS service, it was very good.

The Pods idea is a great one, but the billing was problematic. They had some glitch and doubled me every month and the call time to get a hold of CC person was stupid long!

This is my 3rd cross country move with PODS and they NEVER disappoint. They are always on time, they call to keep you posted if there is an issue, and they are always friendly, from the office to the driver!

This is the second time I've used PODS. The first was to move from Boston to Portland, OR, in the middle of winter, and they did a great job, despite the fact my delivery was delayed because the truck carrying my POD had a gasline freeze somewhere in Idaho. Not their fault. This most recent move from Portland to San Diego was not quite as smooth. PODS lost my gypsy moth form while I was en route, and it wasn't easy to straighten out. Then I stored the containers for 2 months while looking for a place to live in San Diego, and that worked out well. Basically, I'm pleased with their service, their drivers are incredibly pleasant and competent, and I would use them again for any long-distance move.

If you can get your stuff safely into and out of the POD you will be happy. It's the filling and unloading of the POD is where the issues occur.

The delivery and pick up went smoothly at both ends.

This is a great approach for moving. Drivers are very helpful. We had 2 PODS and had no problems at all with pick up and delivery requests. We stored our belongings for nine months.

Every person I dealt with thru customer service was knowledgeable and friendly. Same with the drivers. My stuff was moved from Florida to California and it arrived exactly how it was packed - nothing moved, tipped over etc.

I will never use PODS again.

I had an awful experience with PODS from beginning to end. It was a nightmare.

This transportation option worked well for the size and distance of my move. They were able to schedule the pick up and drop offs to work around my schedule and the apt restrictions. Everything fit in my POD and I would use them again if I had another big move.

So far so good - Drivers great at getting in touch and letting you know that everything is on track.

I love the POD service I received. I am putting my items in storage indefinitely, as I am going to be traveling for several years. The POD is a great system and the driver was very helpful and efficient. I love that I did not have to be home to have the POD picked up. I can't say enough about the great service. I would recommend the POD for anyone who needs safe, reliable storage of their items.

We used PODS to pack and move us from Washington State to California. Then we used them again to move us from one apartment to another and to keep some items in storage for a number of months. This storage POD was just emptied. They are the best movers/storage company we have used and we highly recommend them.

The local team is super. They stay in communication and make certain the job is done right & on time.

They were on time. I was disappointed that they could not fit the pod further on my driveway, but the basketball hoop was in the way so I appreciated their care in making sure that it did not get damaged.

So far all they have done is deliver the Pod. It came right on time and the driver, technician was very nice and competent.

I have not yet had them move the Pod, either to their storage or to my new location. (So I'm not sure of the cost).
