This is the second time I have used PODS. They are the perfect solution for anyone making a move that requires interim storage between the original and final destination. It totally eliminates one complete unload-unpack and reload, which reduces labor and potential damage to one's belongings. POD's communication is great. They give you a three hour window of arrival, and the driver calls ahead to tell you his approximate arrival time and they are right on the money. Couldn't be easier.

We went a size up from what was recommended and glad we did. The truck and container were both very clean. I was most impressed with the customer service was impeccable, we ran into a few hiccups due to our condo board and the driver handles it like a champ! I would use this company again and recommend it highly!

Just wish they had a bigger storage unit. Not all of my belongings fit in the container.

Using a Pod for a state-to-state move is the way to go. It allowed loading up my stuff over many days so that I could parse out my things without a rush and take time to decide what I was taking with me and what was I leaving (either giving away or throwing away)

The transportation has worked out great for size and distance. The pods where clean and in excellent condition. The people where very considerate and helpful. We had used pods before with good results and would use them again.

Dispatcher on the phone was helpful and informative. He even was able to tell us that we would need a permit if we left it in the street>1 day in our area and that we wouldn't need a permit at the destination. Price seemed reasonable for the service. Largest pod size was ordered. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the delivery at the destination for this move (~750 miles away) was not as soon as I would have liked (it will take 1 week from time of pick up at origin to drop off at the destination)--not terrible but it would have been nice to get it sooner. Pod was in good shape when it arrived and the driver gave helpful tips on packing it and securing things so they wouldn't fall against the door and prevent it from opening. Since we had a downpour after delivery, I can say that our pod was watertight to rain. Most of what we moved was boxes from home and office and very little furniture so the 'size of residence' info below is not relevant.

Really convenient and easy, right in your own driveway. Saves us time and money.

Both drivers for delivery and pick up were very knowledgable and courteous. I only wish all three PODS could have been delivered at the same time - instead of it being an all day affair.

Very good experience. Was really worried about our stuff, but it all arrived in perfect condition after being in storage for over a year! Drivers were all courteous and professional.

POD container arrived in good condition. Only complaint was the sliding door on POD was very difficult to secure and lock.

Container did not seem to be 16 feet.

Not recommended for a long distance move. Make sure they provide you with a DETAILED price for "transport fees" up front. 16 foot container from Ft Worth to Colorado Springs was $1800 in transport fees alone. 16 ft container does not hold a normal 3 BR 2 BTH house. I'm sure they wanted me to have to order another container but I rented a Uhaul instead. I would not use them again for long distance.

Up and down experience with some of the Pods delivery guys, but over all it is the way to move your stuff.

PODS have done everything they said they would do. They delivered what looked like a brand new POD unit. They were right on time delivering it and picking it up. They transported it down to the new location when they said they would and delivered it to the site when they said they would . After we had unloaded it they picked it up within 48 hours of my call saying it was ready to be picked up. I would use them again if the need arises.

PODS 16' container was just right for my furniture. The drivers were courteous and placed the container exactly where I wanted it.

Delivered and picked up on time as scheduled. Used a pod as having renovation work performed on place I'm moving to. Only complaint is that I had rented moving blankets and they did not show up with the pod but the packing company was able to provide blankets to protect my furniture.

My 16 ft POD is just what I expected. The driver showed up 3-4 hours early though and gave me only a 15 minute warning. When I got there, he was about to drive off. He was helpful once I got there, but they should have given more warning since they were so early. Better early than late though!

We had a brand new POD and movers said that is was in the best condition they had ever seen. Our furniture was in storage for 3 months and was perfect when brought back into home. The person who delivered and picked up POD was great. I had to reschedule a couple times due to hurricane and the customer service staff was very accommodating. I would use PODS again

PODS is awful. They called 2 days before the delivery and said it would be an extra day due to "unforeseen events". That delay created so much stress that my wife was hospitalized for almost 3 days after experiencing a major panic attack and almost a heart attack according to the physicians at the hospital. I will never use PODS again.

A great way for a small move.

Had a problem with re-delivery of the PODS. In the end everything was resolved however I had to hire additional helpers because PODS was unable to deliver both containers to my property when scheduled

Driver was very nice. He didn't have a right address so he waited nearby where i could clearly spot him.

On time, great skill in placing the container, excellent communication with suggestions on how to fill the container.

Very easy to work with and made packing and unpacking very easy as I was not rushed to do it all in one day.

It was delivered on time and set up efficiently. It was picked up as planned. It is going ahead of me and will be in storage for a month or more, so there isn't a way to talk about the finalizing of the process.

I wish PODS could give better estimates of when they would arrive and be able to better coordinate two PODS. All in all, PODS is a great choice.

The pod was delivered in the time slot they quoted. I had some space left over inside the pod but was ok with that. I am comfortable that everything will arrive intact due to the excellent packing job done by the movers. The driver was courteous and careful. I chose Pods because they were recommended by a friend and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The crew was on time and did a great job. Everything I wanted done was done, without question. There was furniture being moved from POD into house and house to barn and from POD to upstairs in barn. Very timely and courteous

Only took a 7 foot square pod, as anything bigger is cost prohibitive, might as well replace rather than transport, but they did a good job of keeping me informed of their expected drop off times and pickup times, etc.

PODS was very good. Always kept us informed as to delivery times, costs. Etc.

very helpful delivery of POD

I moved from Kansas City, MO to Ohio and every step of scheduling and pick up in addition to how my account was charged was horrible. I was planning to pay for the move in one setting but they set me up for auto pay so that they could pile on the charges from delayed containers. Be warned, PODS for long distance moving is a no go.

I had no problems with the delivery/drop off of the POD. The person called before the drop off, very professional.

The POD's technician was prompt and did a super job, Joe and Sharon D.

Whenever I called, I never got a confirmation number and therefore had no proof I called to have the PODS picked up on a Friday after they were loaded. When I called to confirm there was not record of my call. I had to leave the property before the end of September because it was being sold. My landlord would not give me my security deposit until the PODS were removed and it took until Tuesday for them to be picked up. I hope I don't have to move again but if I do, I will find another way to do so.
