Don't go by their website and the size estimate because according to that all my stuff should have fit into a 16ft container. It was off by quite a bit considering we then filled another 15ft uhaul.

PODS worked out well for my move. They delivered on time, picked up on time. The customer service was very good. I would use them again.

POD delivery was delayed 5-days. I had to sleep on the floor.

It went fine. We underestimated how high the trees needed to be trimmed back and the drop off person destroyed several limbs. The pickup guy needed authorization because he was running the frame on the grass near the sprinkler heads but the drop off guy didn't say a word. The pick up guy dug up the grass on the edge pretty good. PODS sales underestimated by an entire POD how much we needed to store all our goods so we ended up renting a trailer and storage building. Just glad it's almost over.

They arrived on time and did a wonderful job getting the PODS in place and ready to go. It was fascinating watching him use the special equipment to get the PODS in the exact spot we requested! Wonderful experience!

Nice people, but the packing was terrible. The stuff inside was so poorly packed that many things were broken beyond repair. The items shifted so badly, in spite of providing ropes and packing blankets to secure the items inside, that the door was stuck closed and required assistance to pry open. Truly shoddy and irresponsible packing. The movers on our end were shocked and embarrassed.

A good way to move, especially when downsizing. It's a no rush type of move.

Had me concerned about delivery, had to call to check status, delivered early the next day, a phone call to lessen the worry would have been nice. The POD deliverer was very helpful and pleasant upon arrival and pick up was very timely.

On time for pick up and delivery. Didn’t follow instructions on placement, but could have been because of space limitations.

I used PODS because they said my items would be level the entire time. I don’t believe that was the case. The POD was not level when they dropped it off, every time you walked in it it would wobble. I should have paid a little more and hired a moving company. Live and learn as they say.

I needed a PODS container to move out entire furniture & stuff to be able to fully refurnish/repair 100 year old wood floors home. So the PODS container would be stored at the local PODS storage yard till ready to move everything back in. Very fascinating how PODS are delivered to your residence and picked back up. The PODS deliverer is a very talented driver - we had a tight driveway but he was able to make it work without damaging anything around. Very happy with using PODS for short term local storage for household belongings.

Delayed our drop off by a day without warning. Could not get a hold of the local office. National customer service was fine. Drivers were great.

It was easy and simple.

Only difficulty is having the POD picked up at the end of job. They are busy.

If you live in NYC - don't use a POD.

PODS worked well for the size and distance of my move. The drop off and pick-up on time. I chose this company because the container is locked and secured.

PODS is amazing. I cannot say enough about how efficient, effective, communicative, and responsive they were from start to finish. I had to change a couple of days on them and they were quick to respond and adjust. Additionally, they helped me through the process of getting a street permit, which could have been arduous, but they made it fairly simple. So grateful for PODS.

Terrible experience, do NOT recommend. The POD delivery was set for 2:30pm & I hired movers at 3pm. PODs called me at 2:45 that they were waiting for a truck to return & didn’t have an ETA. This went on for hours, while I had to pay the movers extra by the hour. Not having an ETA was extremely stressful on the day my lease ended. The driver was genuinely concerned & was great, but the whole experience was terrible for a company with a reputation like PODs. Very poor customer service, reliability & accountability.

PODS is very convenient and secure. You have much more control over your belongings than if you have a mover pack you.

They are ok but pick up and delivery times are not very good could be because they are busy but need better accommodations.

Speedy and seamless drop off and pick up. Made a long distance move less of a headache.

PODS was a nightmare. I had informed them we hadn’t decided definitely where we would be moving to in Washington. I was assured that the facility in Portland would be close enough to service Washington areas. I informed pods of our California house selling and the immediately said we will ship your pods. Not once did the suggest 5he pods remaining in California until we found our destination. I am now in dispute as they are trying to charge me another long distance move to Des Moines facility and another long distance move to deliver to my home. Now Olympia is only a 2 hour drive from Portland, so I am being charged the move to Des Moines facility and because our home is 2 miles out of the 50 mile delivery area, I am being charged another long distance moving fee. This is a racket. I will NEVER recommend PODS.

Excellent Customer service and so was the drivers of the PODs.

Joseph and Don were a great team and worked very hard. However, if I hadn’t been there to help with communication, it could have been a problem since my mother doesn’t really hear well, either. Their packing skills were very good!

PODS worked well for me. I knew my belongings would need to be in storage for at least two months (ended up being seven months), and it was nice to have the POD loaded, moved to my destination and stored until I was ready for it. Everyone I had contact with was professional and if I was calling regarding a concern it was promptly addressed. I would absolutely use them again.

Pod door was very difficult to open by two women.

1st time using POD. Cost less than a moving company. You can hire loaders & unloaders. Their customer service reps give detailed info and will answer any questions that you have.

The 16ft pod was the right size to move out of state since we weren’t taking any appliances and very little furniture. I wouldn’t recommend it for a full house with appliances. It served my purpose very well. It was the most economic way to move my 86 year old mother from Chicago to Dallas. The pod was in great condition. I would use them again.

Our cross country move was literally flawless. I am so impressed with PODS. I highly recommend this company!

delivery windows changed twice in one day making it difficult to hire loaders and unloaders scheduled within the 3 hour delivery window. one case the delivery was so late that the loaders had to work the next day! Delivery is controlled by the transportation department not by Pod scheduling. Cannot contact transportation dept because they only have personal cell phones and can not contact them !! They get your money and you are stuck with poor un-communicated deliveries !!!

This is my first POD rental and all is going extremely well; great communication and service.
