8 X 16 is smaller than I thought! Or did I have more "stuff" than I thought. At any rate the container was here when they said it would be and the guy dropping it off was courteous and placed it well.

The PODS team, lead by Valerie Mabe, was terrific. They answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns, prior to the order, addressing concerns with the PODS themselves and during this cross-country move of ours. Our prized possessions made it cross-country without a hitch, and we can't be more pleased and satisfied. I had some concerns going into this process, honestly, because we'd experienced some hiccups in other parts of the move not related to the physical move cross-country itself. Fact is, choosing PODS was the best decision and the easiest part of the whole process that we made.

Great! Last minute reservation and they delivered the next day. The POD was not facing the correct direction on the truck and the delivery guy turned it around in my small apartment parking lot. Very accommodating, would highly recommend.

I've lived in CA, WA, MT, CO, HI, OK, NC, and ID so I've moved around quite a bit. I used PODS twice. The first time I used PODS was my move from Hawaii to Colorado. The second time was a recent move from North Carolina to Idaho. If it makes sense economically for your move, I can't recommend PODS enough. I've moved several times with my own Uhaul and car tow and it was a nightmare. Getting in and out of gas stations, making sure we had enough clearance pulling in and out of places. We even got blocked in at a hotel parking lot and got a flat tire on our last move. PODS was a dream!!! So easy and painless. Reduced the stress of our move significantly. We hired movers to load our POD up and then had a relaxing drive to our new home. This is hands down the least stressful way to move and I will use PODS for any future moves. Great service every time and very professional.

Pods was awful. They called and confirmed that they were going to move my container the night before during the confirmation window and then called back the next morning and left a voicemail saying it would be more than a week later before they would be able to get it due to a driver being out. I had medicines a freezer full of food, and other valuables in the pod because it was only supposed to be sitting on the site overnight. I tried to argue the case with them and while there customer service staff were all extremely polite the hold times to get someone were outrageous and the end result was that they told me nothing could be done short of moving it to six days out instead of eight.

I was out of state and this was easy to schedule and work with.

Very easy and efficient process

Possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Was put on hold for 15 minutes while a representative "reviewed my account". I could have explained my entire life story in that 15 minutes, let alone tell her I had 2 pods, one of which was broken. When the agent finally came back on the phone, I could hear the TV blasting in the background as she struggled to call me by my name. PODs online container size dimensions are also WAY off. We rented 2 pods (one 16ft and one 7ft) because the sizing online matched to what we have used before with trucks. Oh were we sorely mistaken. We had to actually rent a uhaul to hitch to my truck just to make up for the lack of space. Not only was the sizing WAY off, but the larger of the containers was broken upon delivery and would not latch shut - hence my calls to customer service. I was told it could not be picked up if it did not lock, which obviously caused a dilemma. Instead of leaving the day our Pods were packed, I had to stay 2 extra nights (in a hotel) to ensure someone could come out and get the latch shut so the pods would be picked up. The driver was the only helpful person in the entire situation. So not only did I have to get more space via a uhaul, I also had to spend a couple nights in a hotel to wait for someone to address the broken pods. This quite possibly is in the running for worst part of 2020..

The latch on the pod was bent and would not engage, the Viking moving team fixed it so it could be locked. So everything worked out.

PODS did an excellent job.

My one gripe with PODS is they can NEVER get a hold of the dispatcher to tell you where your container is. TWICE I've had late containers and NEVER got a call to tell me they were going to be late. And when you call customer service they less then capable in helping you find out when/where your container is.

Great other than taking my move blankets when they picked up my PODS.

They were actually slightly early for the drop of of the container because of a cancellation, and the gentleman maneuvered the crate into my driveway such that I could still park in my garage. Pickup was on time and without issue.

Wish they would have picked them up sooner.

Driver knew what he was doing when delivering the pod. Slight problem with lock delivered. Problem was resolved through customer service.

Pod is the way to go

I’ve been using PODS for more than 5+ years. I like that it’s a contactless service and your container gets picked up straight and placed back down straight, no tipping.

Good job, reliable, on time. Everything went well.

This worked well every step of the way. The reservation and customer support were excellent and everything happened just like clockwork, even with some timing changes I requested. My wife and I were very impressed with PODS as an organization and the loading/unloading companies they referred us to at each end.

They were efficient, professional and communicated information in a timely manner.

The POD makes everything easier. A lot of room to pack everything that you don't realize you have.

They arrive for pickup and dropoff when they say they will, and their drivers are able to skillfully maneuver their trucks and... whatever those machines are called that physically lift and set down the container. I don't recall the price I paid off the top of my head, but I remember it was a bit less than their competitors.

They loaded our 2 PODS and we told them we really hope they get scheduled for unloading. Very nice, conscientious young men.

Serafino did an amazing job of delivering and picking up our containers. This whole process is very simple. PODS is also very accommodating with changing dates/times.
