We had recently moved into a large 3-story home and I had several pieces of furniture that I decided I wanted moved to other areas of the home and I didn’t want my husband to break his back trying to do it by himself so I hired 2 workers for 2 hours through Hire A Helper. Rates are a little expensive but I figured it was worth it not to worry. Workers arrived about a half hour late (had trouble finding the house). Both workers were young but it was apparent one had more experience and was the senior of the two workers. After showing them the job (move a large sectional couch up one flight of stairs into a loft area, swap 2 bedroom sets out- had a large log furniture bed set upstairs and wanted it moved downstairs and so the bed set downstairs had to be moved upstairs). The workers started with the couch and it was definitely a challenge for them getting it up the tight stairwell but they managed without breaking anything (small mark on the wall). Then the worker with more experience worked on taking apart the downstairs bed set while the one with less experience took apart the large log furniture set. They then helped each other swap the furniture and set about putting the bed sets back together. The problem arose when the less experienced worker did not remember how to put the log set back together. The other worker ended up helping him but they were almost out of time and asked if my husband would know how to reassemble the bed because the kid did not remeber how to... I told them he wouldn’t know anymore than them so they did their best to put it back together however, in the end it was very wobbly and unstable. My husband ended up going over the entire set and tightening everything up so it is much better. In the end, they worked hard and were very nice but I felt like I was racing against the clock the whole time (long bathroom breaks, etc just made me nervous). They got everything done and I appreciated the help even if it was expensive and not 100% put together right.
If I were to start my own moving company, I would hire the professionals from Branam's Moving Service. They we timely, well prepared, efficient and respectful of our property. Most important to my wife and I was the fact that they were trustworthy. I would recommend Branam's for all of you moving needs, and we would definitely use them again if needed.
What a great bunch of gentlemen! Worked hard the ENTIRE time and never once broke, scratched or damaged anything. Professional, great personalities, and strong work ethics. Would hire them again without hesitation. Thanks, TLH
Move Me Tennessee company was so friendly and yet so professional at the same time. I would recommend them always and would certainly use them again. They are an asset to the PODS Company.
These were some of the best movers we have ever used! Matt was fantastic and was able to be flexible with my move time due to us not knowing when our POD would show up. On top of that they were careful unloading all of our boxes and furniture and even took care while bringing up the washer and dryer (the washer was extremly heavy) without nicking, scuffing, or scratching any of them. On top of all of that they also made sure that they used the carpet protectors we had set out not track anything inside. If you want someone who was on time, polite, helpful, and careful while moving your items, then I highly suggest Matt.
This job was for assistance in unloading a POD; They arrived within the requested window despite snow; they included 3 people in the crew for the same cost instead of the 2 expected; the job was completed quickly and carefully; no damage to the furniture; would use them again if necessary.
The guys that came to unload me in Gainesboro were awesome. They worked really hard and it was even lightly raining and I have a steep yard that they had to go up. I would certainly recommend them.
Brandon and his men were prompt and prepared for the job. They worked hard and were very careful with our antique furniture. They also finished the job in the time they estimated. We would recommend them highly..they aim to please!
After loading 3 Packrat containers, I wasn't about to unload all of them. Mitchell Moving sent two gentlemen, they unloaded the heavy stuff, put them where we requested, and were just very nice people. Very happy to have hired them so that i didn't have to unload all of this myself.
