I've used PODS in the past. I found they were professional and I had no issues with their services.

We used the 16' POD and it had plenty of room. We moved one king sized bedroom set (not the mattress or box spring), a large 2 piece wall unit, 2 desks, several small tables, a sofa table, about 50 average sized boxes and 5 large boxes. Container was in good condition. Customer service was great during the entire process. The only snag we had was in locking the container, we were given the wrong instructions, the container was not locked properly and could not be picked up on original pick up date, which was a problem since we were already at our new destination and had to overnight a key and find someone to re lock the container. It turned out okay in the end. I would definitely use PODS again.

PODS was very excellent to work with. Our belongings arrived on time and in great condition. They were responsive to our needs and timing. All our drivers ( two PODS on each end dropped, loaded/unloaded and picked up) were courteous and helpful. When my husband could not get the door open on one because the load had shifted in transit, we called and the driver returned to assist him. Highly recommend!

PODs worked well for us - very easy to schedule/contact via phone and we used several months storage of our packed PODs. Packing knowledge is also key...and our Hired Helpers knew how to do it!

Clearwater Florida delivery guy was great, very helpful great attitude. The Harrisburg PA drop-off one, not so much and they forgot the lock we paid for and ordered and they wouldn't able to park it very well.

They didn't have their stuff together to arrange for the street permits in Denver for the pod. My move in day was delayed twice while they figured out how to do what they said they'd do on the phone.

I will recommend Pods to anyone needing this type of storage and moving.

Using Pods for our move that included a few months of storage was a great decision. Of all the options it was most affordable. Our pods were always ontime. Some drivers had tips like make sure pods open before driver leaves. Another good tip for those that store for a while and then travel a distance, the pods aren’t air tight so some dust gets inside. If you don’t want to wash everything seal the boxes. Glad we used pods and will use them again on our next move.

PODS is a great way to sve money on your moving expenses. You NEED to hire professional labor to load the POD for the best outcome of your household goods. There is a correct way and the average person doesn't understand the loading concept. A professional loader will be worth the $$$

This transportation option did work well. However, if I had not sold quite a few pieces prior to my move, all of it would not have fit. The container is nice and rigid. I only used one 16 foot container. Customer service booking, pick up, and drop off was great. However, I didn’t realize storage fees start when the container is dropped off not after pick up. I chose this company due to convenience of loading and unloading on my own time. I’m not sure if I will use them again. I will have to compare with other options based on what I need. Overall, good experience.

We had a pretty good experience with PODS when we moved halfway across the country. We got a 16' container, which was a little smaller than I thought - we filled it up pretty easily with basic furniture and boxes from our 1000 sq ft apartment. Drop-off was easy (we reserved two spaces in our apartment's parking lot) and they picked it up without a hitch. The POD travelled 1000 miles to the local storage center in our new location, where we left it for 5 months while house hunting. After moving into our new house, we arranged a drop-off and final pickup which was a breeze. One thing to keep in mind - POD does NOT prorate monthly rent cost. It was over $200/mo to keep our POD in storage and you will get charged the full month's rent even if you only use the POD for part of the month. Be mindful of scheduling! I'm not a fan of that policy but overall, it was a good experience and definitely cheaper than hiring a long-distance moving company.
