Excellent 2022 16-foot truck with 87k miles, it was very easy to drive and well maintained.

Excellent company customer service, but the truck did make a lot of squeaky and other noises. However, I made it from point A to B which is the most important thing. When big rigs passed by and/or when the wind blew, the truck was blown over the line in the break down lane. The steering wheel had a little too much play. The truck had about 76-77K miles on it but it seemed/felt older than that while driving the truck. I did like the beeping feature when the truck was blown over the lines. Douglas was great at the pick-up location, and all the reps the helped me book the rental were the best especially the ladies in the office in Pennsylvania. 0.oo Cost of the Penske truck rental was way too much & OVER PRICED (4 times the cost of 10 years ago).

Truck pick up at first location: gash in tire, had to drive 40 minutes to another location to pick up truck; was given incorrect address for drop off of truck and had to drive 30 mins to drop off.

It was a new truck that had great features like a rear camera that acted as a rear view mirror and drove quite smooth

Truck was reliable. Fully fueled. Only negative was the ramp was too stuck to use effectively. Next time I will check this when picking up the truck.

Penske truck was great but issues regarding the dropping off of car carrier.

The Penske truck worked out great for my move. Everything fit perfectly, and the trip went smoothly. The truck/trailer/container was in really good shape, clean and ready to go. Customer service was great from start to finish. Booking was easy, and they kept me in the loop for pick-up and drop-off, which I really appreciated.

The pricing and people were top notch and amazing. The only reason Im putting four stars instead of five was the truck pulled very hard to the right. Not a big deal for across town but across the US was a bit of a headache. Would still recommend them for the top choice anyway. A clean reliable truck that got me all the way from Alabama to Oregon. Kept me warm through the snows and winds of Wyoming no problem too!

Clean, working moving van. It was ready on time, and the moving blankets we reserved were in place in the truck. Simple check-out process!

They were helpful and kind - especially during the intense snow fall and my car getting stuck in their parking lot. They went above and beyond.

Equipment provided was in great condition, clean and in good working order. I received military discount which helped defray costs.

Oil light on and had to return to the yard for assistance. Did not have enough rental blankets.

I consider Penske much better then U Haul.

Truck was great but it beeped in traffic incessantly due to being to close to the vehicle in front of us, which in traffic in cities you can't stay back 5-6 car lengths. The limiter on speed was also incorrect in some places, road speed was 65 but it would shut you down to 55 even though that wasn't the actual speed limit.

have used them in the past, the 1st time they were lacking with requested equipment, thankfully we did not need the use of what we asked for, this time we got half of our request so they adjusted pricing on both occasions which was fine in the end, as far as I'm concerned.

The Penske truck was great. Having adaptive cruise was wonderful, even though I'd always dissed it when buying cars.

the windshield's weather strip came off within 5 miles of the trip

I used a 16 foot POD and a 26 foot Penske Truck. Everything went really smooth.

When giving discounts by phone please tell the renter what to bring to make sure to get the discount. We didn't have the AAA card and lost 80-100 dollars off

Great truck. Had many safety features, lane departure, following distance...etc. Had some difficulty making it up the inclines but didn't loose too much speed, with a FULLY loaded truck.

Everything was excellent easy to work with.

The truck was fine but it did keep making a beeping sound until we figured it out.

Ernesto was a godsend.... recently moved from Austin Texas to Denver & had a million things working against me - fortunately though, Family Movers & Ernesto were not one of them. They were quick to communicate their arrival and communicated thoroughly throughout the entire moving process. Ernesto & his assistant were tremendous...even when things broke down a bit during the move he & his team were quick to pivot and adapt. We got everything done earlier than expected & can happily say Ernesto was great company throughout!

Rented both a 26’ and a 12’ box truck(s). Both worked very well for our cross country move.

Everyone from picking the truck up to returning it were kind and very efficient.

Once we got it, the truck was great. HOWEVER: I ordered a Penske 12' truck in early July. When we went to pick it up at 8 AM at a local Penske rental location, there was no 12' on the lot. After numberous call from the local renter (at Home Depot, Lawrenceville Highway, Decatur, GA), we were told: (1) therte was only 1 12' available, in Atherns GA; AFTER I SPOKE WITH DISTRICT MANAGER, HE REPORTED THERE WAS NO 12' TRUCK IN THE STATE OF GA; I was distressed, so that felloow caLLED HIS BOSS AND MIRACULOUSLY, A 12' TRUCK APPEARED. Time? about 1 pm. I incurred a $200 change fee when I had to delay our loading from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. Penske appeared to lack an efficient and reliable management chain.

Didn’t have the truck at the place we wanted to pick it up. Had to drive to another place farther away but they did give us a discount since we had to drive farther to pick the truck up
