Moving trucks are very expensive between the rental cost and the mileage.

26 foot box truck unlike uhaul that isn’t a true 26ft.with limited liability insurance (highly recommend)a little under $2500 for unlimited mileage plus 7 days.

Diesel is the way to go.

Truck was in excellent condition and drove well. Check out and return processes were very smooth.

I only use Penske for anything long distance. The trucks are fairly new, maintained and their service is fantastic. We had to use them on a prior move and their service dispatches and were onsite within 45 mins. Definitely worth it.

The only issue was reservation to pick up truck was for 8:00 AM CST and was not able to obtain truck until 10:00 AM CST. This delayed packing by two hours.

Very happy with Penske. Since they reserve a truck for you and guarantee that you'll get the size truck you reserve, they were the obvious choice – I didn't want to be stuck with a bigger, more expensive truck than I needed. I did purchase the limited damage waiver insurance, and I am glad I did – although I don't think there was any damage to the truck, I appreciated the peace of mind that came with having that coverage (and everything I found online said that is one type of insurance that is worth paying for). Used a 15' truck with car carrier.

3rd time i have used Penske in philadelphia since June 2022. Best equipment, best prices and always have the truck i reserved. Getting a 26' when all you need is 12' or 16' is ZERO help and always happens with other truck rentals.

The company that rented the Penske truck to us was arrow rentals in the Germantown/Gaithersburg area. We got a 16 foot truck without much mileage on it for significant less cost that a UHaul for the same size.

Truck was a couple of years old with 130,000 miles on it. Ran like it was just out of the factory. large truck, easy to drive.

Next time clean the windows in and out.

Ordered a 16' box truck - perfect size and was in good shape (41,000 miles). I had ordered moving blankets and a dolly which were not available. Instead, the agent gave an acceptable discount. Truck ran well for the entire trip.

We have moved cross country twice each time chose Penske. Best price and reliable transportation!

The truck drives better than Uhaul.

Damaged driver's door would not lock causing a security concern. Penske sent a mechanic who disabled the outside handle. We entered the truck through the passenger door.

Penske is a great truck company. But we didn't get the truck that we reserved because of mistake was made. We really did need that truck because our truck wasn't as big. We had to leave things behind because of it.

I have used Penske for interstate moves before. They always have something for every budget and this time we were able to get one of the newer 26' foot trucks (only had like 4,000 miles on it!). Biggest difference? This truck took diesel fuel and had air brakes. However, as always, they were polite, offered suggestions and ultimatly made our stressful move just that much easier!

I rented a 16-foot box truck from Penske. The truck was ready at the pick-up location, Storage King USA on E Olive Rd, Pensacola at the appointed time and checkout was easy and fast. The staff at Storage King was pleasant and ready to assist in completing my rental and quickly got me on my way; same on my return. This rental from Penske and Storage King was substantially cheaper than U-Haul.

Penske was great. We originally booked with Budget, but returned the truck due to it's extremely poor quality and lack-luster customer service. Penske was comparable in price and miles ahead in quality, convenience, and service.

Had a car hauler and a 16' truck. No issues at all.
