The truck rental went very smoothly and the price was good.

Uhaul didn't contact me prior to my move day to let me know the truck I reserved would not be available at the location I requested. I only learned that I had to travel over an hour out of my way to get the truck when I arrived at the store in the morning. Even then, the rep at the counter seemed uninterested and tried to pass the buck and suggest the other location was responsible for notifying me about the pickup change. I've always had good experiences with Uhaul but this time they sucked.

Got a 20 foot truck from Uhaul using their online system for check in and check out. A little different, but once I got the hang of it, I liked it. The truck was great with no problems.

The 10' truck was well sized for my daughter's move, but uncomfortable for a long distance drive.

U-Haul is easy to work with. The truck was in great condition...clean and ran well. They have an awesome assortment of boxes and just about everything you need. I would use them again.

It was clean and in great condition

Truck box had a lot of damage. Passenger door would not open from neither then outside nor the inside. The truck burned up $88 worth of gasoline to go approximately 180 miles. Bear in mind, I kept that needle in the green most of the way.

When I picked up the truck the man gave me the keys and my contract and said "you are all set to go". I asked about the inspection and he said "inspections been done, you're all set". But, when I got to the truck and saw the amount of damage on the box I decided to take pictures before leaving. When I got the truck home and went to secure it for the night I found out that the passenger side door is inoperable. I could not open from the outside nor the inside. I didn't bring the truck back because they were closed and the next morning the movers were going to be here to load the truck. I did call Uhaul and let them know about the aforementioned problems.

Edward was excellent and satisfied my needs promptly. Prior to getting the truck rented I was able to go online and make my reservation effortlessly. Nice job UHaul. Please keep up the good work.

cost effective, and easy

Excellent company as always have used their trucks many times.

I moved 2 full bedroom, full living room, TV's, kitchen, dining table, storage in the garage, gardening tools, washer and dryer.

The truck alignment was terrible, but the storage space was good. It was easy to reserve and pick-up.

Uhaul- 26 foot truck was clean and ran without issues.

Didn't get the time, location or size truck we originally requested. Everything worked out in the end, but not finding out the final information until the day before made planning difficult. Also, I was to do the truck pick up via mobile phone before the location opened and then when the time came they did not allow that and made me wait until the store was open and I had to change the time that my movers came. Again, everything worked out in the end, but the whole process was somewhat frustrating.

The truck was fine and people were friendly the only issue I had I initially rented a truck from Budget who called and said sorry we don;t have the truck. So I rented one from U-Haul which was $120 more than Budget.

I ordered the truck in Chico for a one way transport to Napa. Two days ahead called to say they would not have a truck in Chico but one was reserved in Red Bluff a 40 mile drive. After complaint they reduced the price but did not need the 1.5 hour driving during move day. Then when arrived they only had a 20 foot truck instead of 15 foot. The truck was way more difficult to drive. The Uhaul center was not sympathy. "it just happens, can't control it" Will never use them for a one way again.

Trucks cancelled by mistake

The process of picking up the truck went very smoothly. The inside of the truck was a bit dirty and the dozen moving blankets I ordered were not in the truck. This was a bit of a pain as my furniture was not properly padded.

They had the truck ready and warmed up so all we had to do was sign and drive.

I had to have a hitch to hitch my car to. That was very expensive. U haul didn't have a truck for the exact space that I needed. The truck was either too small or too large, so I had to get the larger truck which cost me MORE money.

Didnt like the truck i was rented.

Issues with returning the van. They claimed that it was in an accident, which it was most definitely not. The guy said "Well at least you purchased insurance, so it doesn't matter", as if they were just planning to claim this damage regardless of who was at fault. Concerning response, considering we did nothing wrong at all.

The truck was spotless and ran well. The pick up was very easy. They called us the day of the drop off to ask where the truck was - which was only odd because there wasn't a drop off time on our receipt. They should probably be added to their rentals to insure they have the trucks in stock that need to be rented to other consumers.

Easy access and great selection of trucks

I had not used Uhaul for years because of bad experiences in the past and their reputation. But, have things changed for the better! I rented a 26' truck and it was loaded to the brim. I drove from PA to Maine, and had no trouble at all with the truck. It was good on fuel (as good as could be expected!) and ran well. It had a small rain leak in the roof, and because I drove through an actual Nor'Easter storm, a few things got wet, but nothing was permanently damaged. Billing was accurate - pick up and drop off were easy and fast! Great experience!

My UHaul experience was excellent. Everything was as promised.

I went to a very clean store and it was easy in and out.

We used U-Haul of West Spokane on Sunset Blvd. We had scheduled a 7:30a.m. pick-up time and the brand-new truck was ready and waiting. The frost was cleared off the windows, and finishing up the paperwork took no time at all. We had a 25’ x 10’ storage unit packed with all our belongings (without any major appliances) from our three bedroom-three car garage home. We rented a 26’ truck and the movers we hired to load the truck did an excellent job of fitting everything in. We chose U-Haul because of their reasonable rental rates, reasonable costs of add-ons, like extra insurance, and their convenient location. We would definitely use them again. We had clear roads and no mountain passes...gas for the 400mile trip was about $100.

Good service. New truck. Only complaint was when I picked up the truck, I was not shown where the lights, etc., were. I ended up driving it back at night with the cab light lit up.

Rented 6x12 cargo hauled 800 miles no problems.

U-Haul service is just horrible with few competent people at the locations causing delays and mis-information.
