Truck and Trailer were ready when I was, and the attendant helped me load and secure the vehicle for transport.

The truck was fine and people were friendly the only issue I had I initially rented a truck from Budget who called and said sorry we don;t have the truck. So I rented one from U-Haul which was $120 more than Budget.

I ordered the truck in Chico for a one way transport to Napa. Two days ahead called to say they would not have a truck in Chico but one was reserved in Red Bluff a 40 mile drive. After complaint they reduced the price but did not need the 1.5 hour driving during move day. Then when arrived they only had a 20 foot truck instead of 15 foot. The truck was way more difficult to drive. The Uhaul center was not sympathy. "it just happens, can't control it" Will never use them for a one way again.

Trucks cancelled by mistake

The process of picking up the truck went very smoothly. The inside of the truck was a bit dirty and the dozen moving blankets I ordered were not in the truck. This was a bit of a pain as my furniture was not properly padded.

They had the truck ready and warmed up so all we had to do was sign and drive.

I had to have a hitch to hitch my car to. That was very expensive. U haul didn't have a truck for the exact space that I needed. The truck was either too small or too large, so I had to get the larger truck which cost me MORE money.

Didnt like the truck i was rented.

Issues with returning the van. They claimed that it was in an accident, which it was most definitely not. The guy said "Well at least you purchased insurance, so it doesn't matter", as if they were just planning to claim this damage regardless of who was at fault. Concerning response, considering we did nothing wrong at all.

The truck was spotless and ran well. The pick up was very easy. They called us the day of the drop off to ask where the truck was - which was only odd because there wasn't a drop off time on our receipt. They should probably be added to their rentals to insure they have the trucks in stock that need to be rented to other consumers.

Easy access and great selection of trucks

I had not used Uhaul for years because of bad experiences in the past and their reputation. But, have things changed for the better! I rented a 26' truck and it was loaded to the brim. I drove from PA to Maine, and had no trouble at all with the truck. It was good on fuel (as good as could be expected!) and ran well. It had a small rain leak in the roof, and because I drove through an actual Nor'Easter storm, a few things got wet, but nothing was permanently damaged. Billing was accurate - pick up and drop off were easy and fast! Great experience!

My UHaul experience was excellent. Everything was as promised.

I went to a very clean store and it was easy in and out.

We used U-Haul of West Spokane on Sunset Blvd. We had scheduled a 7:30a.m. pick-up time and the brand-new truck was ready and waiting. The frost was cleared off the windows, and finishing up the paperwork took no time at all. We had a 25’ x 10’ storage unit packed with all our belongings (without any major appliances) from our three bedroom-three car garage home. We rented a 26’ truck and the movers we hired to load the truck did an excellent job of fitting everything in. We chose U-Haul because of their reasonable rental rates, reasonable costs of add-ons, like extra insurance, and their convenient location. We would definitely use them again. We had clear roads and no mountain passes...gas for the 400mile trip was about $100.

Good service. New truck. Only complaint was when I picked up the truck, I was not shown where the lights, etc., were. I ended up driving it back at night with the cab light lit up.

Rented 6x12 cargo hauled 800 miles no problems.

U-Haul service is just horrible with few competent people at the locations causing delays and mis-information.

Comprehensive and fast

No trouble at all with the 15 ft. truck we rented from U-Haul. It was so comfortable to ride it, it made it a 2 day vacation drive for us! It was wonderful! Would definitely use U-Haul again!!!

The attendant at the UHaul location was very disrespectful and the check took over an hour due the attendant’s attitude. The delay was intentional by the attendant.

They always come through. This is my 4th time using them.

I usually use Uhaul just because they were close to my old neighborhood. Their in store service is sometimes lacking but they make up for it with helpful staff at their call centers. When the system tried to have me return my truck over an hour away the call center staff made sure I made it to the proper department who manually changed the route so that I could take it somewhere much closer.

My local Uhaul hub was great - the team there was fast, friendly, and informative. The truck itself has seen better days...but that's how it goes.

Truck was clean and ready as promised, but I was not happy about the gas tank being empty when I picked it up. The truck was older and it bounced around a bit, but everything worked fine and we traveled safely and without incident.

Mysteriously I was charged for three days of a rental when I only had it for one. So now I am STILL trying to get that corrected because of course it has already hit my credit card.

We felt the mileage seemed a bit off. Should have checked the miles/gas before leaving the lot as UHaul charges for every mile. Would use again for short distance moves but maybe not if need to do multiple trips to storage unit. Mileage ended up costing thrice the basic rental rate. Adds to the stress of moving.
