Good vehicle. Well maintained. Mileage wasn't great on the truck, but it was pretty full and I am sure close to capacity on weight.

We love Uhaul! They always have great equipment and take good care of us.

(Katrice Lenoir left this review) After using Uhaul for many years, My husband called UHAUL on 04-30-2019 to request a 26' inch truck from the Elmwood/River Ridge location. They didn't have a truck available anywhere near our location. They scheduled my husband to pick up the truck in Gretna, La. too far from where we were located. It really was a burden for us to have to travel so far to pick up a truck. During our move there were not any issues. My husband needed to change the payment method in his Uhaul account and that was a major issue. When he called customer service for UHaul, he was told he had to change the payment method from his account while at the Uhaul location cause the app had to pick up our location using the GPS. When we went to his account he was not allowed to change the payment method. It would not register even after being at the location to do it. The Uhaul application is useless. If we can't make changes in the app what's the use of having it? I had to make several calls to customer service after waiting more than 5 minutes on each phone call. The customer service members were not helpful cause they couldn't make any changes pertaining to your account and are really just a waste of time. The charge for $207.00 was extremely ridiculed. They should have pro rated the cost because we traveled more than 5 miles just to pick up the truck and drop it off. I will consider using another service in the future. We were totally dissatisfied with this company.

When I made the reservation I was uncertain about the truck size. I ordered one and at a later date realized it was too small. The staff changed the order with no problems. They were courteous and friendly both on the phone and at pickup.

Good service and van

Truck leaked and damaged a box. The truck overall was nice and newer. Lots of confusion about where to pick up the truck. They said I had the truck for 3 days and then when I turned it in they said I was supposed to have it for only two. The paperwork said three. If I had not ask I think they were going to charge me for the extra day. The 1-800 people are rude.

Truck was in good shape, got help loading the car on the auto transport.

Truck was not available and we got sent to a different location. Plus, they have refused to discuss a problem I had with their recommended movers, movinghelp.com. I think if they recommend someone on their site, they ought to discuss problems we had with them.

U-haul has again provided exemplary service. I have never had anything unexpected or negative to report.

Worst customer service experience ever! I received an email with confirmation of time and pick up location then found out the day before my move that was onlly wishful thinking and that I had to go pick up the 26' truck 60 miles away versus 3 miles down the street...I was livid! Then they had the nerve to tell me they would not discount my gas, only mileage and still ended up charging me even extra for mileage! I will be turning them into BBB just for the way they mislead you into thinking you will be getting your truck rental at the place you originally receive your confirmation info and number on....Livid!!!

I have used Uhaul several times to move across country this was just a short move 80 miles. Never have had any equipment problems.

The truck was clean and easy to drive. The customer service during booking was excellent and the rates were great. I will use them again.

It was easy picking up the truck in Oakhurst, having the Howard and his team load me up in Bass Lake My son drove the truck down the same day to Hemet. The next day Dependable Movers were there to unload the U-Haul truck then I returned the truck the same day to the Hemet U-Haul site 2 miles from my home. It was a lot less stressful than I anticipated. Took about 34 gallons of gas Filled up twice on the trip

We have always used UHaul, they are great, never an issue, they go out of their way to be helpful always. We will always use U-Haul, and highly recommend to everyone, we moved from MS to TN and used them several times in the last 18 months of our moving process.

Very positive experience with local Mail Boxes and More store that also is a U Haul rental. They were very friendly and helpful.

The U-Haul truck we received was really dated. The lights in the cab had a mind of its own. When we parked it at night, someone came over to tell us that the lights were on again, because he was worried it would drain the truck's battery. (I can't imagine how badly things could've been complicated if he didn't warn us about this.) We ordered packing blankets, but when the movers arrived and we opened the truck...the packing blankets weren't there. Luckily, the movers were able to improvise, but some of my furniture still got a little damaged on the move because they weren't probably cushioned without the blankets we paid for. When I called to get a refund for the blankets, they told me that I needed to handle it with the U-Haul office in the state we were moving to, which didn't really make sense to me, since that office wasn't the one who took our order. However, we told the new U-Haul office about it, and they informed us that they would give us a refund on the card we used to order the truck. That was yesterday and I have yet to receive it. (I'm not saying we won't get the refund, but we didn't get it yet.)

U Haul was easy to access and the truck was ready as promised. It was clean and they had our moving pads in the truck. They went over all details of the truck with me.

Truck rental was easy but the price quoted on the ads doesn't cover the whole cost. Mileage and optional insurance and supplies are extra.

Horrible experience. Truck had two service lights on when we picked it up the day before our move and it stopped running at a stop sign on the way home. We called Uhaul, and they sent a service technician to the wrong STATE. At 11:30 the night before the move we went to bed hoping that a service tech would finally come and hoping that we would have a safe 250 mile trip the next day. Our movers on the front end were scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m., so we were at the mercy of Uhaul to provide us with safe transportation. They were supposed to text and let us know the status (so we could get some sleep) but instead they called us at 2:30 in the morning to let us know that the technician had reset the lights on the truck. Needless to say it was an extremely stressful experience all the way around with this truck. We asked for another truck and they said we would have to drive 30 minutes to pick it up at 8 o'clock the morning of our move. We had already paid hundreds of dollars for the movers and we just couldn't do it. We made it to our destination, and have never heard from Uhaul again. Very disappointing experience on so many levels.

When I ordered the truck online it booked at a place off Union rd in Gastonia. We go there a few minutes before 9am and waited about 20 minutes and no one ever showed up. My advice is make sure your rent from the main Uhaul location on Franklin.

Clean. Packed well, drove well and handled well for 2 hours down I 95.

The truck was fine. Pickup and drop-off were a breeze. I'd rent a U-haul truck again.

I had quite a few issues with UHaul during this move, but here is the most important info. The transportation did work well for the size and distance of my move. The truck was clean outside of a closed bag of chips someone left behind. The customer service on the phone was good, BUT there were issues with picking up my truck. My truck wasn't ready when I got there and I ended up having to wait 2 hours for the place to open to pick up a different truck than the one I reserved. I paid for my truck online, but was told by the guy that eventually gave me my keys that there was no payment in the system. This caused me to be charged twice. Then I had issues with returning the truck to the place designated by UHaul as the guy was rude and didn't want to take the truck because "he didn't know where the truck came from." He asked for paperwork and I told him that I did it online. He then asked to see the email and all of that. It was just a big mess. I ended up being told by customer service on the phone to just leave the truck and drop the keys in the box. Even while I was doing this, the man came back out to inquire if I was still going to leave the truck there. I said yep, and kept doing my online check in. I feel like this was big mess and when you are relocating to a new city and trying to get so much done in a short amount of time, the last thing you need to deal with is being double charged, held up, and talked to rudely by people at random drop off locations. The only brightside of this were 2 of the 7 customer service reps I spoke to on the phone.

Making a reservation was tough. First reservation was made at a place with no 24/7 pickup....even though I said I was picking up at 10pm. Truck suggested was WAY too big. But took it, due to the time constraint.

U-Haul is going downhill! I have used them many times moving around the country. It was so hard finding a 20’ foot truck near where I lived. And when I called the one location the lady had. I idea what’s utility cart was that I was trying to order with my truck. Then the day before I was to pick up my truck no one called me. Good thing I called to confirm because U-Haul switched my location without telling me! So when I went to the U-Haul place to pick up my truck and utility cart that I had ordered the place had no utility cart! So I had to go to Lowe’s to buy one myself! What a joke of a service!

In and out, only had the truck for about 6 hours one of the most painless moves i have done.

The one thing I have against them is that their website is hard to navigate. I was trying to rent from one location, and apparently, it kept sending my reservations to another. I didn't find that out of course until the second location called me wondering where I was.

Timely, helpful, everything functioned well

No I'm very disappointed in U-Haul, I reserved a 26 ft truck on March 14, 2019 to be picked up on March 25, 2019 when I arrived at the storage facility the truck wasn't there and they had to find me a truck. In the mean time I had two workers from Pacesetter Personal sitting in my driveway waiting for me.I strongly believe I should be refunded some of the cost for the whole hour I lost in loading time. I rented the truck from Shalimar Storage at 17615 Panama City Beach Parkway Panama City Beach, FL 32413 ( 850 ) 588-4766. Then when I arrived in Ocala, FL at my storage unit, unloaded the truck and went to two U-Haul dealers to try and return the truck, the first one said they were over stocked and couldn't take it, the second one said they could only take up to a 20 ft. I then had to call your 800 number and have them locate a U-haul dealer in Ocala I could return it to, which took the better part of the afternoon causing me to cancel an appointment with a realtor to look at some homes we were interested in. So I can rightfully say my experience with U-Haul was horrible.

Satisfied with the rental process and the truck. I'm just a tiny bit annoyed with their insurance program, but otherwise, I'd use Uhaul again.

Truck was the right size and worked fine for our move. Ramp was too short, so it ended up being very steep.

The place that i rent offer good price

I reserved a 20' truck with a hand cart and 48 blankets. The pick-up process was fast and smooth. The truck had 65K miles on it, but it drove okay. I was given eight bags of blankets (some were already opened). The opened bags of blankets had dirt and leaves in them, which got all over my home. I didn't use three of the unopened bags, so I asked for a credit when I returned the truck. They reluctantly agreed since the transaction wasn't finalized yet. Thank you!
