While somewhat pricey, using PODS storage containers are very convenient. Their customer service team is very helpful and friendly and their customer website easy to use. I also appreciate their flexibility.

Container coordination and drop off were excellent. I suggest the PODS contact add recommendation for securing straps in the container—we used mine to secure the load. This is my second move move with PODS; I’d call on them again.

Was amazing to watch the drop off and pickup. Contain was clean and easy to use.

They offered City Service to bring the container into NYC and unload from there, but it was recommended that I hire movers (Sharp) and unload the POD into a truck in Queens at the POD facility. This was 100% the right way to do it for me!

PODS was very good at bringing the pods out initially, then picking them up. Where I was disappointed was in the final delivery. I called on the 27th of June to have them sent to my new home, and was told they were "fully booked", and would not be able to even move them out of CO until July 5. Pods then arrived on the 16th of July in GA. Had no idea I was going to wait almost 3 weeks for my pods to arrive.

Not a fan. Suggested wrong size of Pods so one too big the other too small. And one of the companies the recommended to help with loading sent me a less than competent and professional crew. Would not recommend PODS.

PODS is deceptive. We were told our containers would be in climate controlled storage locations, but our Apple AirTags told us they were in a parking lot in a different city until we called an complained.

They were wonderful, on-time, respectful of walls and damage, very considerate and polite. Worked hard in the heat and humidity with no complaints, I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Really appreciate the vigilant communication and efficient and ON TIME service. When they say they are coming to pick up or drop off a Pod, they show up! All employees who transported the Pods when above and beyond to meet our needs.

The PODS team did an excellent job of ensuring we had the right resources to execute our move well.

Jon (I think this was the name of the PODS driver) was really awesome ?? and receptive ?? and placed the PODS container exactly where I wanted it, based on the photos (that I took before I had to go to work, since I couldn't be at the apartment complex during the window of time he would be arriving) and that I texted to him when he called me to notify me that he was at my apartment complex ??!

Lack of blankets to rent was not a good thing for a moving company.

So far so good — everything has been perfect. Drop off and pick up we’re both on time and communicated expertly. Customer Service has been fantastic each time I called same great service — great job people!

POD was delivered empty, picked up packed and redelivered to our new home exactly as promised.

They made a recommendation on size which didn't work and we had to order another pod. But gentleman who helped me fix this problem was so helpful and I feel went above and beyond.

Confusion in coordinating drop off date between app and my account added three problematic days at end of the move. Things mostly arrived in good shape.

Cory, the PODS driver, for this particular move, was really fantastic about communicating, and reached out to me to make sure he knew exactly where I wanted my POD container to be dropped off and parked. I had taken photos of the building and area that my leasing manager had pointed out specifically for the POD container to be dropped off so that it would not obstruct any of the residents from driving in and out of the complex. So I texted these photos to Cory when he called me, and he parked and secured the POD container in the designated area that my manager had specified :) !

Poor comunication about when POD was to be delivered and picked up. Scheduled for July 1st between 7:57 and 10:57. Who delivers PODs that late at night? I called to complain. They never show. I recieved the To Be Delivered email that didn't have a time for delivery. I called and got another the time. Anyway, you get the idea. Very poor communication. Made us crazy because we couldn't depend on the time schedules. Same thing with pick up time.

The Pods system is an excellent way to move if you have time flexibility. I found the combination of using the pods and hiring a team of local movers to be pure magic. Booking the movers was simple and easy through the Marketplace! Our support representative at Pods.com recommended everything we needed. There were checklists and instruction videos that made preparation a breeze. This was a great way to securely get our goods across the country at an affordable rate so I could enjoy a 3-hour flight with my husband, two boys, and cat. It's hands down better than driving the 27 hours.

PODS is great if you have a driveway, and less good when you don't. The local people usually know what to do, but they're hard to get in touch with.
