Our pod will be in storage for a couple of months while our home is finished but the experience so far has been fantastic. Communication is clear and timely. The pod delivery and pickup went flawlessly.

PODS has been late for both the dropoff and pickup of the container. The customer service was rude and not helpful. It is the cheapest option though, so you get what you pay for.

I am filing an insurance claim as one of the PODs arrived with serious damage to the floor, causing damage to my furniture.

The PODS were an EXCELLENT way to move cross country. The containers were stored in a secured facility and you had access to them at the warehouse if needed.

We had never used Pods before but were pleasantly surprised how spacious they were. 2 containers fit our entire 4 BR, 2.5bath house including basement, garage, and shed items. The containers were in great shape and it was captivating watching them get dropped off and picked up. If we ever move again, I'd definitely consider Pods.

A bit pricey but is great and reliable.

Good. Most of the scheduled times were met, with the exception of the final POD deliveries in TN. We scheduled the delivery for 8/4, but it was never completed, and we had to schedule again for 8/11 causing a delay we had to pay for.

PODS was well run and flexible and stayed in very good communication. They failed to communicate the gate code to the moving helpers, but other than that small oversight, PODS was a pleasure to work with, from the website to the person taking the reservation to good communication prior to the pods arrival and extra services offered.

They caught me off guard. Pod was scheduled to arrive on the August 12th , it was dropped off on the 11th in a bad spot to be offloaded.

On Point and Super Easy!!

Our driver was punctual, friendly, and super accommodating. He ended up staying an hour later than he was supposed to because our movers were late. The whole time he was helping the movers out, was very friendly and warm. PODS container fit mostly all of our boxes of stuff. We didn't end up taking most of our furniture because all of it would not have fit.

I moved long distance from MS to VA and PODS made it very easy. I has no issues with scheduling. The customer service reps on the phone and the drivers were always friendly. They were cheaper than ABF and Uhaul for my move, which was a welcome surprise. I did have to rent moving blankets from Uhaul as PODS doesn't have an option to rent from them. I would absolutely use them again.

Poor communication around scheduling the pickup after initial POD delivery.

I don’t feel I was given a good estimate on how many containers we would need. They service fees were not clearly outlined. The monthly fee for storage is outrageous. It would have been cheaper to rent a storage unit for 6 months then to leave my stuff in a POD for 1 month.

Everything was completed as scheduled. My only complaint was the packer recommendation in San Antonio, but I will deal with the company regarding issues that occurred due to poor packing practices. Nevertheless, I hope that PODS will take greater care to carefully screen before they make their future recommendations.

Easy delivery and pick up, friendly and helpful customer service.

The company recommended 2 pods for our house, but we made it fit, albeit barely. And that's largely because we got rid of a lot of furniture and other stuff ahead of the move. Pod was in great shape, customer service was excellent both in person and on the phone. Very convenient service, would use them again for sure.

Their drivers are awesome. Their customer service agents? Not so much. This was my first move into a new state to an area I was unfamiliar with. The delivery for my empty PODS was simple and efficient but the drop off with all my belongings was less than ideal. I moved from a larger apartment complex with a parking lot to a house in the city but their mechanism for unloading the PODS is so big that unless you have a huge driveway or a large parking lot nearby, I would not recommend the service. And FYI I booked their smallest POD (8x7) for a one bedroom apartment and still had spacing issues. Their customer service agents I talked with didn't always speak coherent English and didn't understand the questions I was asking about space for the PODS dropoff before I booked. So of course the driver on the delivery day didn't have enough room to use their crane contraption to lift the 8x7 PODS. Instead, I had to rent a Uhaul and pay a separate moving company to help load and unload the POD stuff into the Uhaul and then into my new apartment. Luckily nothing was damaged during the process and the PODS driver was friendly in helping me through the process. Just be aware you need a ton of space.

I would definitely use PODS again in the future

Very professional, prompt and helpful! The were on time, listened very carefully to directions on items we were particularly worried about. They sweated very hard on a hot and humid day. I would definitely recommend and use them again! Thank you!

Using PODS was very convenient to use & pack up at your own pace. Plus you don't have to worry when re-locating. It's not inexpensive, though, nor are the monthly storage costs.

They came when they said they would and delivered my items to my locations with minimal damage. Couple of scratches on stuff (which was my faulty for not padding things better when I packed it.) I would definitely use them again if needed.

The transportation was good. My one issue was the transporters damaged a tree branch and a patch a grass, BUT, in their defense, it was a tricky location to drop off the Pod, so it was inevitable.

The containers were clean. Only one issue when they tried to deliver a wood pod which would not work for my needs. Gave price breakdown and explained each one. Liked that they took payment as service occurred.

I completed an order with container delivery scheduled and approved. PODS simply lost the order, which they acknowledged in repeated calls and emails. But they then refused to respond to my repeated requests for help with rescheduling.

Good company, very reliable

Customer service department is awesome, every time I called to get assistance with adding or changing a POD order, they were pleasant. Driver dropping off and picking up POD was super nice.

The redelivery driver did not redeliver my container on the day that we had agreed on months ahead of time, and had a nasty attitude towards me and my apartment's management team when we tried to find a solution. He ignored all of my calls and when I called his supervisor, he ignored my calls as well. I had all of my essentials inside the container, so I had to stay in a hotel with my two cats and buy new food/kitchen utensils/litterboxes until the box was delivered. I was not reimbursed for the expenses I had because of this screwup, and when contacting a supervisor, the delivery manager, and even corporate... NONE of them responded back to me even though I called multiple times and left messages. PODS did not care at all that they left a young college student stranded hundreds of miles away from home with nothing but carry-on luggage and some food that was bought from the airport. When the container finally did come, the same driver gave us attitude again and placed the box over a parking space that we told him not to place it on. The emotional and financial stress that this caused me was not worth it. Completely unsatisfied with this company, I will never use them again and will encourage all of my friends and family to avoid them at all costs.
