Everything with our truck and car hauler rental went great. They were confirmed a few days before and the trucks were ready to roll when we picked them up. The only negative was that we had asked for one of the trucks to be a lift gate truck and were told ok but then when we went to pickup, we were told lift gates can't be taken on one ways. It wasn't a big deal just had to make some adjustments to truck loading.

We got a pretty decent deal on the truck to move between Christmas and New Year's. Pick-up and drop-off were super easy, despite being in different states. Was brief confusion at drop-off location about whether we had purchased or rented furniture pads, but issue was quickly resolved.

The car carrier jack broke when we got it home and tried to remove the trailer. They were prompt in sending someone out to take it away. The roof of the truck leaked and got several of our boxes wet. The brake system did some odd things from time to time. The blankets we were given were damp and smelled so bad we could not use them.

Our truck was clean and in great condition. Just as important, it shifted very, very smoothly to avoid anything shifting. Very impressed with the truck.

Like new truck with low miles. All the amenities.

price was good but both pick up and drop off has some minor issues. I am a little wiser now and will ask more questions next time. And yes, I willl rent from them again.

Truck was not ready at scheduled pick up time. Had to wait 3 hours.

Soooo much better than my last U-Haul experience. Very good/newish truck at a very good price. Homne Depot did a great job handling the transaction.

We have moved residences many times over the past 10 years and have used Penske each time. Always a quality vehicle without any issues.

The blankets provided by Penske scratched some of the tabletops. The governor on the engine made it extremely difficult on inclines.

The governor on the engine made it very difficult driving up an incline. Had other drivers honking at me several times as the fastest I could go was 35 mph.

We love Penske and always use them. Clean and well-equipped trucks, easy to pick up and drop off, great customer service, reasonable rates.

26ft van was a bit underpowered, but made the trip without problems

The truck was great the wiper were in poor working condition, I was better off with no wipers.8870

Truck was simply equipped, but was reliable for my 1000 mile move. Relatively comfortable.

Price was right and did the job.

When I returned the truck to Home Depot there was a delay at the store which resulted in Penske wanting to charge me for another day. I was about 15 minutes late getting to the store because of weather and fueling but the additional delays were due to the responsiveness of the Home Depot. To their credit Penske did reverse the charge for the extra day but I think they need to take into account other possible delays when returning that might push the time past the return time.

Rented a 26 foot truck and was fortunate enough to get one with a lift gate. Made the entire process a LOT easier and the loading crew was glad to have it. This truck was only used for a preliminary move of selected items not the entire house.

Trucks are newer and well maintained. Easy and straightforward rental agreements that are very transparent. Excellent customer support if needed. I had no problems on the entire trip. Very nice handling and comfortable ridIng 26’ Diesel truck with International chassis. I drove long and short haul trucks for 50 years and wish I had it this nice for most of those years of driving almost wished I was driving again. Don’t bother with the rest, Drive the Best!

We rented a 16 foot truck to travel 1000 miles Chicago to South Carolina. The truck had 100,000 miles on it, but it handled the trip well, even through the mountain sections. No breakdowns, no bald tires, no broken features in the cargo areas.

Truck ok but service extremely slow or nonexistent at that Home Depot. Took at least an hr. Just to get truck...paid $50 for flimsy and shredding moving blankets (ripped off). Nice truck I would rent it again but buy lots of blankets elsewhere! Also if you’re going up hill the passenger might have to get out and push at 20mph ??. Pricey at $200/day but it does the job and that’s what’s important.

Penske Truck Rental was affordable and very clean truck.

I was bit worried when I selected Penske. In general their Yelp reviews were decent, however the few that weren't were worriesome because they mentioned the major inconveniences of trucks that weren't available at the scheduled pick up locations or at the scheduled pick up times. My move was a very time-sensitive, one-way, long-distance affair so I had concerns about the possibility of this inconvenience occurring when I rented. Thankfully everything turned out smoothly: the truck was available, in good condition (clean, no major damages, almost full gas tank. etc) and there were no problems with the truck on the road. The Penske representatives were informative and helpful when I booked the reservation and there were no mix ups at the Home Depot when we went to pick up the truck. The drop off at Cube Smart in Florida was just as smooth. I'm grateful to have had a good experience!

Penske was good - but HOme Depot, where I picked up the truck wasn't. They claimed the truck had a full tank when it was 1/2 full and when I pointed out the DEF tank was almost empty, the response was to tell me that DEF fluid wasn't needed.
