Containers were delivered on time and communication was good. One container arrived with a nest of ants in it however. Would use again for sure.

Confirmed delivery the day before and called when they were about a half hour away. Pick up is tomorrow so hope that goes smoothly as well.

Called before they came to deliver, and delivered on schedule. Drivers were professional and good at their duties. Containers were very clean and all supplies were provided as promised.

They were late delivering the POD due to traffic. But the guy did call and let me know and was very professional.

Everything got to my destination on time, but their communication and timeliness is not the greatest. I paid $50 extra for a guaranteed pick up date and the no showed no called. When I spoke with the pack rat main office many times during the day, they kept saying they could not get in touch with the facility handling the pick up. I'm not sure if I would use them again as communication and timing play a huge role when moving across the country.

They showed up on the day it was supposed to and the container was in good condition. My sister recommended this service to me becuase she thought it was the best value.

1-800 Pack Rat is the greatest. Making a move out of state is not to be taken lightly. The logistics alone are staggering. These people made all the difference. Not only did they transport my belongings, I was able to have my vehicle transported and hire two helpers when I arrived at my new home. The 16' container was spotless, and the drivers throughout were excellent. True professionals! After exhausting research I chose 1-800 Pack Rate based on there overall reputation. We are so very glad we did.

Pod arrived on date scheduled. When I scheduled it, I left the delivery time open but I would have liked to know earlier on the delivery date, when they would actually drop off the pod.

So far, so good. They delivered the pod on time and picked it up on time in California. I am waiting for the arrival of the pod in Florida. I especially appreciate the ongoing updates and the phone number to the more coordinators when I have a question. THANKS.

This is my second use of Pack Rat in a year - both long distance moves. The ultimate experience was good, but I did get the sense they were so busy that I sometimes got lost in shuffle as was placed on hold for extended periods of time or phone calls were not returned. However, the containers were dropped off and picked up when they said they would and the items arrived safely. Overall, satisfied and I would use them again, but maybe not during their peak season.

Great service and reasonable prices for a 4 state move involving 3 pods loaded over 2 months. We have a complicated move and Pack Rat worked with us on our dates to ensure we would have enough time to pack them. Service was exceptional. Pricing was slightly better then PODS.

Brand new container delivered on time, door to door. The great part was they were able to drop off and pick up the packrat on start and end points! PackRat gets my vote!

Driver delivered trailer on time, he took the time to park the trailer right where I wanted it, helped me set up the ramp, he picked up the trailer right on time too! Very professional !

Dan Pierce was the driver who dropped off and retrieved the containers. He called ahead of his arrival, and kept us constantly informed of what to expect. He was extremely hard working, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Dan is one of those rare employees whom everyone wants to hire! We hope to see him again.

My pod was in storage at the facility. They arrive on time and place the pod as though it was their own. He was respectful and thanked me for using Pack Rat. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

So far, based on the delivery of the empty container, I have enjoyed Pack Rat's customer service, pricing such as flex pricing for slower transport, the condition and quality of the container, and the punctuality of the delivery.

Did what it says on the tin. You get a container, you pack it, they move it and store it. They were quick and responsive when it came to moving/storing, and everything was in good shape aside from stuff that we packed wrong. I think I'd prefer using movers next time for my own sanity, but for DIY this is a great option, particularly if you need to store stuff in the meantime.

The container was in need of repair and maintenance. There were holes in the sides covered with tape, several bolts holding the roof on were missing and the retaining rods to hold the doors open while loading were damaged and unusable. The container was stored inside the warehouse so there was no water damage from heavy rains in the area. When the driver picked up the loaded container he damaged the driveway of my home and also the container. The delivery was on time and when I needed to unload the container at the warehouse rather than have it delivered, they were accommodating.

Delivery of the container was on time. The driver asked which direction the door should face and had to reverse the container end for end to suit our needs. There was a severe thunderstorm later that night and not a drop of water got into the container. We are downsizing, and sold or donated much of our furniture. We managed to get all we need into a single 16 foot container.

I had one POD in storage already and decided for our second to us pack rat. I have felt them to be much more professional and easier to work with than POD. They were also less expensive.

I moved during the busy season and everyone worked hard to accommodate my moved dates.

On time but missed the initial blankets delivery. They immediately remedied the situation and fulfilled the entire order. Great customer server each time I called. I called at least 7 times over a 4 month period.

Have given an AVERAGE NOT because of the gentlemen who brought the pod. He could not have been kinder and more apologetic for the complete screw up on the delivery time. I had made 3 phone calls PRIOR to the actual delivery to ensure that the pod would be dropped off in the AM and picked up in PM. At the time of the order placement, the gentlemen who took my order said they would be there at 8:00am so I had the movers there at 9:30 am. When the pod finally arrived after 2 more phone calls the expected morning of the delivery of the pod, the paper work stated that the pod could be delivered at ANYTIME that day which was completely wrong and it should have been corrected. To be honest, The pod delivery is to be at 8:00AM on July 10th and I am more than a little concerned that it will be messed up again. I have the movers scheduled for 9:30 again and also have son coming in to help. If I based my review on the driver and his ability and personality and courteous behavior my review would be excellent, BUT the staff that schedules needs to be improved. The scheduling on a move is the most important aspect of the move.

The delivery driver was very cordial and thorough as he could be (very bad lightening and thunder happening as he was delivering). There was a large dent in the front of the trailer but he said he had put protective tape on the outside and the inside so there would not be any problems. He showed me where we could tie off the ropes or straps and brought the bag of moving blankets in for me and gave me a lock. A few days after it was delivered I went out to make sure everything was ready for the packers and noticed it was dirtier than I had thought so I just swept it up and made it ready. Other than that all was good.

I have have used PODS and now PACK-RAT. Nothing wrong with PODS but I will use PACK-RAT again for future move, very professional service adding extras at no cost at a better price.

Delivered the container late but the drive was very good.

Very pleased overall with the experience, their responsiveness to questions or concerns, and ability to work out a schedule that met my needs. They also managed accessing difficult location in rural location for pick up. I would have liked a slightly smaller container, was between large size and their small size, so had quite a bit of extra room. Customer service was great, and I used the company because my niece and others had used them so they came highly recommended. Would definitely use them again. The drivers were also very friendly and enthusiastic about their job, especially on the Atlanta end of the journey.

Good quality, and delivery/pickup was on time and went smoothly. Couldn't really ask for more.
