Good equipment. The return agent in my destination city is no longer an agent for Penske. I felt like an idiot trying to return my 26’ truck. The people at the old site did find a close agent to return the truck before my time was expired. Update your database Penske!

Truck was available as scheduled. All went very smooth. Customer service was right on point! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We don't use UHAUL now that their owner's are known for the abuse of puppies. (Google it - the wife dumped sick puppies on a rescue and refused to pay for their vet treatment - billionaires.) We would've gone with Budget and the cheaper truck through our Discover CC discount, had we known. Actually they gave us a bigger truck with Penske so that was nice, the truck was fine, the extra time was nice...and the pick up was convenient.

The truck we rented at Home Depot in Virginia for our one way trip to New Hampshire was great. It was pretty new with only about 6000 miles on the odometer. It was remarkably good on gas mileage and was powerful enough to keep up with traffic on busy highways in Pennsylvania, New York and Vermont. I would definitely rent from Penske again.

Used them twice in three months for long distance move. Cost effective for me. Will only use Penske Truck Rental.

Renting the truck was easy as pie. Returning the truck was a night mare. Beware of Home Depot employees for tuck rental return.

I love using Penske trucks. We have done multiple cross country moves with them. Their trucks are diesel with air brakes and relatively new. This one had less than 50,000 miles on it.

This option worked well for our move. The truck had unlimited mileage and a discount through AAA. The cost of the truck was reasonable and pickup and dropoff locations were very convenient. The truck was in excellent condition and very clean. Check out and check in were easy. The truck cruised the freeways very well and could generally keep up with the semis. They will certainly be an option if we need to use a rental truck again.

Having rented Penske trucks before, I was pretty disappointed in the condition of the trucks and car trailer I rented this time. The 26 foot truck had a broken ramp slider which made it very tough to get the ramp in and out, the service lights were on for the engine any time I drove uphill, the windshield washer did not work, and the air pressure drained down overnight. The 16 footer had a bad trailer light plug-missing two connectors, and the trailer/car carrier brakes did not work very well and the brake setup was missing a nut on one of the bolts.

New truck. All good.

I have used Penske in the past for 5 moves and I found them to be the best affordable with excellent trucks.

We where told the truck we rented was big enough for a 2-3 bedroom apartment. We had to ship some things and give away some things and we did not even have a couch or a kitchen table and chairs to load up. Not Happy! Customer service was great as far as dealing with renting and they gave me some discounts. Truck was in great shape and easy to drive.

If the Penske employees in Londonderry NH had checked to see if anyone had a 26' truck booked when the one on premises broke down, they would have been able to supply me with the one I'd reserved (6 weeks before) when I arrived on time to pick it up on July 30th. So they were scrambling that morning to find me a truck as I had people from Full House Family Moving scheduled for noon that day and had made advance reservations, some pre-paid, for moving my things from NH to FL and planned to leave at 1 a.m. on the 31st. They finally found one 2 hours away in VT and sent guys to bring it back, but that means postponing the movers who thankfully were able to accommodate me. However, the truck Penske finally provided was a 2019 brand new model with only 4000 miles on it!! Just what I was hoping for as a woman, traveling with another woman, and neither of us wanted a snafu en-route. Once we got used to driving this truck, which held the road well and was easy to maneuver, the trip was a breeze. This would have been a 5 star experience if they'd had the truck ready when I got there to pick it up.

For a normal 3 bedroom home don't expect a 26 footer to hold everything. Also, 26 footers don't get 13 mpg loaded, more like 10 mpg.

Brand new truck - very nice

Rented two trucks and a car trailer for our move. Wish the trailer had a fold away fender to make getting out of the car door possible. If you have a low vehicle you will be crawling out the window. Both trucks were fairly new with low mileage. Have used Penske in the past for long moves and will be using them again.

The Penske truck was very new, and it drove exceptionally well, and we felt safe in the 750 mile journey. The Penske people were good to work with from beginning to end.

The person I spoke to on the phone gave my information that conflicted with the information I received when I showed up to pick up the truck. That almost led me to leave and go with a different company. However, the person behind the counter made it right so it all worked out in the end.

I almost always move with Penske. They give us a good price and are usually reasonable with issues. This time, the radio in the truck broke down an hour into the 15 hour drive and there was some kind of issue with the air compression. Overall it was ok and I will use them again.
