First, I want to be clear that the movers were hardworking, polite, and willing to do the job. I do not believe they were lazy or intentionally careless. They worked steadily throughout the move, and I appreciate their effort.
My concern is not their work ethic, but rather their experience and packing methods, particularly for loading a POD. A POD is transported differently than a standard moving truck. It is lifted and moved by hydraulic chains, causing the container to swing during loading and unloading. Because of this, proper weight distribution and thorough protection of furniture are especially important.
Instead of distributing the weight evenly throughout the container, they packed nearly all of the boxes tightly in the rear of the POD and placed the furniture toward the front. This created an uneven load that could shift during transport.
I also provided approximately 30 moving blankets, along with stretch wrap, tape, bubble wrap, and other packing materials specifically so my furniture could be properly protected. Unfortunately, much of that protection was either not used or not used adequately. Drawers were left in furniture instead of being secured or removed, furniture was not consistently wrapped with stretch film, and blankets were often omitted. At one point, furniture was stacked directly on top of other furniture without a blanket between the surfaces. When I pointed this out, the mover immediately corrected it, which I appreciated, but by then some damage had already occurred.
As a result, my late mother's antique chest was scratched. This piece has significant sentimental value and cannot simply be replaced. Discovering this damage caused me tremendous anxiety during an already overwhelming cross-country move.
In my opinion, the movers were courteous and hardworking, but they appeared to lack the experience and training necessary to properly load and protect furniture for transport in a POD. My complaint is not about their attitude or effort—it is about the inadequate packing methods that resulted in damage and unnecessary emotional distress.

Awesome job! they made sure my items are packed carefully and best utilized my space in my pod they move quickly and kept asking if there was anything else I needed they were done in under 2 hours and checked again if there was anything else that I would like for them to do since they were still on the clock, and done early! great Movers I would recommend them again Israel and Sergio were the best thank you. !
