The two movers were first-rate. They arrived right at the beginning of the scheduled time window, they were prompt and efficient in loading the boxes, they were alert to ins and outs of the location of the pickup spot and access to the building, and they were both exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were also careful in depositing the boxes in the PODS container in such a way as the minimize shifting during transport. They also provided useful information for future service and welcomed feedback and any questions I might have. I appreciated the call from the manager prior to pickup giving me an estimated time of arrival and verifying details of the order. They have my highest recommendation.

MoveMakers Northwest did a superb job handling the move of our items into a POD. They arrived on time and got right to work. Everything went smoothly!

Moove team showed up last minute since the prior movers I had been assigned to through Hire A Helper did not show or call. These guys were professional and had great communication by calling me and letting me know their time of arrival. They moved everything with care and did the job quickly. They were friendly and helpful making sure that I got everything moved that I needed. I would definitely recommend them.

Our movers were on time and patient when we had issues with the pod's drop-off location and logistics. They helped to troubleshoot the issues to make unloading the pod and moving the items into the building as smooth as possible. The job was done quickly. Would definitely use them again!

These guys were great. We have a long uphill driveway and they schlepped everything down to the truck and made it all fit. Great attitudes and very helpful.

They worked hard for over 5 hours straight and took good care of our stuff. They packed our things into the PODS very neatly and maximized the spaces available. I forgot the name of the crew but some of them came up from Salem to Portland to work. They had a great attitude.

If this review were based purely on service quality, it would easily receive 5 stars—the crew does exceptional work. However, proceed with caution regarding billing and job estimates, as you are responsible for paying the full quoted amount regardless of actual time spent. Hire-A-Helper provided the original estimates, though they did issue a two-hour credit after a complaint. Estimates were significantly inflated on two separate occasions: First Job: Billed for 40 person-hours (4 people for 10 hours), but completed in 22.5 person-hours (5 people for 4.5 hours). Second Job: Billed for a 4 person-hour minimum (2 people for 2 hours), but completed in 1.5 person-hours (3 people for 30 minutes). While the craftsmanship is top-tier, the estimation accuracy and rigid billing structure are major drawbacks. Carefully review all quotes before committing.

Kenneth and his partner did a great job! Communication was excellent and they were very prompt. They both worked hard and did a very good job. They were very careful with all of our belongings. I would definitely use them again.

Other than they were 20 minutes late, once they got to work, they were great. They took care to be careful with the furniture and the difficult staircase. They did a great job of packing the container. I would definitely recommend this crew.

The movers themselves were lovely, but it took twice as long as expected (and paid for) and it was only a small one bedroom apartment. Part of that time was to disassemble furniture, so I understand, but it was still longer than I anticipated. They also did not put the parts for the furniture together super clearly (like we’re currently missing a sofa leg). They also made me buy all of my own moving supplies (blankets, plastic wrap) which I have never had to done before and which added significant expense. Overall, it was OK, but between the supplies and extra hour, my $300ish move became closer to $600. Again, the two men who did the move were lovely but I think the company could perhaps use some more structure and systems.

I would give these guys a *10 STAR* rating if I could*! My daughter and son-in-law used them about a month ago to load their 4 bedroom 3,000’ home for Texas. They were early, efficient and they were FAST…and they all worked really hard to get the job done! They did such a great job, that I decided to hire them to load our trailer for Texas. Our house wasn’t as big, but two guys got the job done early and even saved us an additional 3 ft! They were early, very efficient, and FAST! They all worked really hard to get the job done! And Don really knows how to pack a trailer! He can put stuff in nooks and crannies like you would never think you could! I would absolutely use them again!

They came and had everything done super fast/efficiently. Master tetris-ers! Everything was handled gently. Could not be happier!!

Didn't have the proper equipment for job. Left a electric fire place sitting in kitchen because they couldn't figure out how to get it around corner and Didn't have the sliders to put under it and go a different direction. I put some under it and moved it in place in about 3 minutes. They also left refrigerator in garage because they didn't bother to take handles off. They said if zi hired them again they would bring the right stuff and put it in the utility room where it was suppose to go.

These guys were fabulous. Not only did they manage to fit everything into my Pods, but they were super efficient, professional, and friendly. I really appreciate the care they took of my furnishings and would definitely recommend them to anyone moving.
