Dispatcher had requested to move the estimated arrival window from 11-12 to 12-1, movers showed up at 1:15. I had paid for 3 movers to work for 2 hours, but they were done in less than an hour and a half. They hastily stacked many of the heavier items on top of lighter ones. There were two small containers to fill, and when it appeared that most of the items would fit in one container one of the movers suggested I leave behind my large chair. I took much care to wrap my breakables well in plastic bubble wrap, but one of my mirrors was dropped and broke. They did not clean up the glass shards on a sidewalk with obviously high pedestrian traffic (and many children and animals). They packed one of the heaviest items against a large piece of glass, and when I pointed this out they nudged it into a different corner but failed to leash it tightly with rope. In fact, all of the tie-downs were rather slack for comfort. Would not recommend for long distance moves.
Update: returned my money, so this review has been changed from 2 to 4 stars as agreed.
Second Update: discovered that many of my items were broken, toppled, scratched or smushed in transit due to poor packing (and one item I asked the movers to treat carefully that had clearly been scratched when loading, which had been hidden underneath a packing blanket) so I've changed this back to 2 stars.
