The two men that were sent to help us move did a great job. Hard working, on time, and respectful.
Unfortunately, the company charged us for three men (not the two that came) and also charged an extra $300 fee to move a piano that the guys couldn't move (due to being underreasourced by the company.)
We ended up moving the piano ourselves with the help of a neighbor.

I asked in the instructions and paid for an extra hour for bed room assembly but this was not done and wasted money on a prepaid extra hour that wasn't used

Hired this outfit for 2 men for 4 hours to unload 26' UHaul. My friend and I helped unload to expedite the job; it took the four of us 2 hours to unload the truck. I paid in advance for four hours. This Company refuses to refund $253 for two hours work not performed. READ THE FINE PRINT, I'm sure it's there; it's a company policy that once they have your money, all decency goes out the window. They will simply not refund any money already paid even if the work wasn't performed. Additionally, one of their men had a real attitude; couldn't/wouldn't make eye contact; doesn't know how to shake hands and generally appeared to Not want to be there working.

The guys did a great job moving our belongings back into our residence. Very respectful of our goods and property and very nice personalities. The only thing holding back a 5 star review is the fact they were very late.

The movers were about an hour and 45 minutes behind our scheduled time because of a previous move running over. Within about 20 minutes of arriving, one of the movers asked if I was single & then proceeded to call me “baby” and other pet names as well as ask my weekend plans & offering you come back the next day. Prior to completing the job he approached me asking for my number and called and texted me for days after the move. As a stranger I hired & paid for a service who knows my home address, I was uncomfortable. Most of my furniture arrived with minimal scuffs, however, one side of a mirrored dresser was cracked & shattered without my knowledge. The portion that was broken was pushed in a corner outside of my view until I moved the piece. I paid for four hours & only ended up using three.

Customers can best prepare for moving day by making sure as much packing is done as possible. Packing really takes up the most time on a move and if everything is boxed and ready to go, you can really save yourself a lot of time.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members must go through the Movers and Helpers training Program. This program takes 3 months to complete. This is why Movers and Helpers has the best labor only moving service in all of southern Louisiana. Our Reviews speak for themselves.
