Carlos and Ali showed up on time, were prepared for just about everything and did a fantastic job getting our truck unloaded. They were very polite, hard-working and even though it was some distance from the truck to the apartment...they handled it with ease and without complaining. Of course, I can't help but pick at Carlos for drinking a pink drink...but hey - he was fantastic and we had a blast while getting things done.

I have moved numerous times and this was the worst experience I've ever had with moving labor help. I could not reach Black House Moving to discuss move times, left multiple messages and finally had to contact Hire A Helper to get through. One of the movers arrived on time the other arrived 45 minutes later. Even though I provided instruction for how I wanted the truck loaded (put small boxes inside cabinets to save space), they ignored that and stacked my boxes to the ceiling of the truck. When I pointed out that they would fall over if the road was rough or the driver hit the brakes, they tried to adjust a little bit. My furniture znd items were haphazardly piled in with no regard for fragile items. I received my shipment today. I have multiple damaged items, crushed boxes, scratched and damaged furniture, a completely broken bookcase, and the movers who unloaded my truck were shocked at the poor packing service on the other end. I always appreciate whoever provides help to me in my moves, but I cannot give a good reference this time. It is the worst move experience I've had.
