My review has zero to do with the 2 young men who showed up. My review has everything to do with the company Moving Staffers contracted with - The Moving Boys Labor Service.
1) The wrong crew was sent. Two nice young men showed up to help me load. The only problem is today was packing day. A packing crew was supposed to be sent; tomorrow is load day.
2) The young men had never packed before. They have only loaded. When I called Moving Staffers about this, they called The Moving Boys and were told the two young men had been trained to pack and they could just stay on the job. That sounded good, but the two young men were honest and told me they had never packed. They have only loaded and unloaded. When you are paying between $500-$600 for professionals, your job should not be the first time crews are packing. A company should be honest about their training. The customer should not be the trainer.
Because of The Moving Boys lack of integrity, we are stuck doing the most tedious packing. (This is the reason we hired help for our move.)
Tomorrow should be interesting. Though I am supposed to have 4 loaders, the guys told me that only 3 are on the schedule and that I would not be charged for the 4th person. I wonder if The Moving Boys ever intended to let me know that.
One thing I know for sure, I’ll NEVER use The Moving Boys again. I’m sorry the guys that actually do the work have to work for this company. Again, the guys that came out had a great attitude and were polite. It isn’t their fault.
Additionally, I don’t intend to go through Moving Staffers as long as they contract out to companies like The Moving Boys Labor Service.

The 2 guys showed up ready to get job done. They completed job in 2 hours, and we had the largest U-Haul. They were careful with everything and placed everything where we needed it. They were very friendly and courteous.

The two men who showed up were on time. They checked out the layout of the house and then got right to work unloading the PODS container. They worked very hard and efficiently. They had the right equipment for the job. They were very friendly and helpful. They were very carefully not damage the house or the items in the container. I would definitely use them again.

After our first movers cancelled on Thursday, Hire A Helper scheduled The Moving Boys Labor Service to unload our rental truck between the 10-11am window on Friday. Moving Boys Labor Service called that evening and said they had overbooked and wanted to reschedule in late afternoon of Friday. We stated we could reschedule around noon, but we could NOT schedule in the afternoon, as we had to return the rental truck. They said that could not do that, so we then had to ask Hire A Helper to find us another mover.

Unprepared, slow, not trustworthy, smoking and vaping in the truck. The girl sat cross legged on her backside and waited to be told what to do and then complained. We believe they stole over $1600 of items from our house. Should I go on? Used our pickup truck and Dollie’s to move the items and expected my daughter and I to carry all of the boxes from the back of the truck to the house. Even with rooms labeled and numbered, the items didn’t get to he correct spot without direct supervision. While we were with the “boys” I believe she stole our tickets.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will walk you through our process starting with a walk through of your home or business documenting with pictures the condition everything is in to ensure if any damages occur that you are covered with documentation. We start when we arrive, just as you would expect from and service provider.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure your pod,trailer, or truck is on site before we arrive. Please have all needed equipment available for our crew's, I.E. rope,straps,plastic wrap, blankets, ext. Please be aware that our crews will call the day of your move when heading to you with an eta.
What types of moves have you handled?
We service all need. In almost 2 decades of services we have done it all.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The satisfaction of the client.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crews members are screened and trained hands-on by management before entering the field. Management consists of long-term employees that worked up our ranks from the bottom.

Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
