They were on time and did a good job. They were gentlemen and moved our furniture without damage.

Mike and Marshall were not only hard workers, but they also had a great sense of humor which made a hard day a lot easier. I double highly recommend these guys!

Handy Hands helped us to move on Sunday. They arrived on time, and were prepared for the job. Marshall phoned me twice beforehand to make sure that he knew what to expect and so did I. They worked hard and did so thoughtfully; they made suggestions re: how to balance light and heavier objects and furniture. They worked very hard to try to bring an antique dining room set that's been in the family up the curved staircase in our Victorian house, to no avail. They tried moving it in multiple ways, and expressed their sadness when it simply couldn't make it. I would use them again--no question. They were fair, careful, strong and kind.

Workers were very hard working and helpful. My only complaint is that they started 40 minutes late due to a different job that ran late apparently. They did not have any tools or even a dolly and that would have been helpful for them I believe. Because they started late we were not able to borrow a dolly to help them out because the storage facility people had gone home at 5pm (they started at 4:40pm).

These guys were great. Friendly, nice to work with and got the job finished in the Two hour minimum. I highly recommend Hire A Helper from Albany, NY!

They were on time, worked very hard and quickly and were gentle with my stuff.

Prompt (actually a little early, and they called first to make sure that was ok), very hard working, polite, and always checking in with me to make sure everything was going how I wanted. They were really wonderful, and I will hire them again if needed and definitely recommend them to friends/family.

Communication was great, I was contacted immediately, and both men worked steadily and efficiently on loading our POD. Unfortunately I am not able to give 5 stars - they did not wrap all our furniture and did not pay attention to whether the boxes were marked with "do not stack", so at least 2 boxes were crushed. As well as a part for our clothing rack was missing upon unloading. This was not due to not enough time, since we hired them for 7 hours and they only worked 4 hours. We did not receive a refund for the hours not worked. So they could spent more time being careful with our possessions.

One guy did twice as much as the other. Feel the last hour to hour and a half was milked. Job was booked for 4 hrs and it went to 4 hrs and 5 minutes. When called Hire A Helper to release payment we asked about the other 5 minutes and they called mover to see if he would wave the 5 minutes and they said no and tried to make us pay for 15 more minutes. Had to dispute extra charges. He lied and later texted that Hire A Helper was the one charging extra. Was not impressed.
