I requested for movers a day before the appointment as I had moved from a few states over and wasn’t sure when I would be officially arriving. The movers came during their window and got right to work. My apartment happened to be on the third floor of my building and there were only stairs, no elevators. The two workers didn’t let that faze them as they had a system to get everything unloaded from the moving truck to my apartment. I had requested them for two hours and they had finished the job an hour and so into the appointment. It was also a very hot morning, but the two gentlemen did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them.

Pre-move communication:
Youngstars had an original slot booked for 7-8 a.m. with us. They called and said they could do an 8-9 a.m. slot. We were okay with this seeing as how it still gave us time to leave and meet the unloading crew in another city. However, this never updated on Hire A Helper's end, which is terrible for 3rd party service and we will never use this platform again. Anyway, we informed them that the apartment will open the gate @ 9 a.m. so the closer to 9 the better.
Move day:
As 9 a.m. approaches we received no call. Called them, the receptionist lied and said they were 15 minutes away. 9:15 a.m. call them, now they are 30 minutes away. We asked them why are they lying and why are they late. We needed to leave on time to travel to another city. The man on the phone, maybe the owner, gets really defensive and begins to argue saying they weren't going to send a crew if the gate is closed. We rebutted, "So that meant sending a crew 1 hour later?" Besides that they get paid to move, so whatever gate is open or closed, you're paid for the hour. Show up or don't be in business. After arguing on the phone with them and Hire A Helper, which barely discounted the move, they arrived at 10:40 a.m. The crew that arrived said the company double booked them but the young men did try to hustle to help us get on the road. We barely made it in time, 5 minutes, to the next city to meet our unload crew. Never again. With this level of unprofessionalism. I will use a more reputable company or pay some Joe Shmoe cheaper to haul boxes.

They were 30 minutes outside of their window. They were thr "on call" crew because the assigned crew couldn't come to my job. One poor guy had on slides. Nice enough but the company needs to be better ar resource management

It took them 3 hours to get to my place, they could not give me any description of why they were late! When all was set and done, after being transferred to multiple ppl, they took off $45 for a $417 move, and this is after waiting for service, and them completely inconveniencing me and my time. I definitely would Not recommend going through this company bc clearly they have terrible moving companies working under them. Worst move Ever! THANKS ALOT HireAHelper

We live 1 hr from Plano. Our 9am start was 1200. A few gouges in the laminate flooring. Two wheels came off of my great-grandmother’s secretary (guess I wanted the other two off as well though!). Otherwise I definitely recommend these guys. They were very professional, pleasant, and hard workers. Abraham is an expert packer- there wasn’t an air space left in the truck! Again I definitely recommend Abraham and his crew.

They were quick and efficient. The only issue I had was one of the guys didn’t seem to want to be there and he was a little rough with a box of paintings (the box could not close due to the size of some of the canvases, and he carelessly threw a heavy bag into that box and on top of those paintings). He also discovered a large glass frame that had apparently broken during the drive and tried to hide that from me by putting it facedown on top of a loveseat. I was standing next to that loveseat and I kept telling him to put it leaned against the wall, but he insisted on putting it on the loveseat. I don’t believe that they broke the frame - I should have wrapped or boxed it - but the fact that he tried to hide it didn’t sit well with me. The other guy was very friendly, professional, and helpful.
