What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will be contacting you within 48hrs. We are going to go through the details and find out what you need from us and what is important to you.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We do keep you updated about our arrival time. After meeting you, we walk through and 'get a scope" of the items. Then we prep anything that needs to be (furniture wrap, disassembles, packing, etc.) Then begins the loading! We work diligently, making sure that your belongings are handled with care. We are on top of letting you know if we see any issues along the way, as they arise. We are hard working, fast, and pride ourselves on being polite, professional, as well as a courteous team.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We always highly recommend plastic stretch wrap for furniture that has doors or drawers, bubble wrap for glass items, and rope so we can help secure you items from shuffling around. Make sure to mark fragile items. Make sure you are not over packing boxes so they don't fall out. We expect you to have a general plan, even if the details aren't quite figured out. We are able to assist in a lot of the finer details, after the move has begun.
What types of moves have you handled?
I have 7+ years of experience between several companies, and my work has led me through most of the U.S. I am versed in gun safes, pianos, hot tubs, and new furniture deliveries as well. We have moved offices. Also have moved a lot of just regular local folks. We have even smaller jobs like moving furniture out of a house so floors can be redone. So a little bit of all of it.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It is great to hear the stories of the people and how they got where they are or where they are going, and just all around getting to meet and know people of all different walks of life. Its never a dull moment, and there is great satisfaction in helping relieve some of the stress of these difficult tasks. Not to mention i don't have to pay for a gym membership.
What training do you provide your crew members?
I work with each of my crew members for several months, one on one. we have a facility that offers in house training, plus the on the job training. Each employee is hand selected, paying attention to manners, work load capacity, and professionalism. We may slow down some to show them some of the finer details to make sure they understand it all. I stick with them until they have learned all they need to and are up to speed.
