This was one of the worst moving experiences I have ever had. The crew arrived unprepared with only a small case of basic hand tools, despite being told they needed proper tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture. They had to use my personal screw gun, and I ended up doing much of the assembly myself.
My furniture was mishandled, dragged across the floors, left filthy, and several items were damaged, including broken glass, a broken vanity mirror, a ripped bed, damaged dressers, a dirty couch, and a broken Dyson charger.
They also improperly connected my dryer. They crushed the wall vent collar and ripped a hole in the dryer vent hose while forcing it into place. When I started the dryer, there was such a strong burning smell that I could smell it from the kitchen. I immediately shut it off because I was afraid it could cause a fire. I now have to pay someone else to replace the hose and properly install it.
I paid for professional movers, but instead I had to provide tools, do the work myself, clean up their mess, document damage, and arrange repairs. I would not recommend this company.

These guys were great! Showed up in time. More than willing to help with the heavy stuff. Great as self directed and in loading a Pod. Respected my home and did not hit anything. Moved fragile items with care. We have used Hire a Helper/ Hall-a-Way Moving twice now and both times were exceptional.
