Arrived on time. Immediately went to work. Worked fast and efficiently, completing the job in an hour less than originally prepaid. Be mindful, though, that Hire-a-Helper charges a two hour minimum but will estimate a larger amount for the prepaid charge. That becomes the new minimum and if the crew completes in less than the estimated time, you’re stuck with their “estimate”. I hope the extra hour I was charged, but not refunded, was forwarded on to the crew. They deserve it. I would use them again, but not bother to go through Hire-A-Helper.
I told your wife before we left you could tell hireahelper 3 hours instead of the 4 that was estimated. You were not there when we finished the job

Wow, I am actually very surprised at how good my experience was. I wasn’t sure what to expect after using a random website, but these guys were on time and did not stop for 3 hours in the heat. I highly recommend the Onward Moving team.

Doug was super flexible and easy to work with. He and John showed up a touch early and got right to work moving our heavy items from our pods into our house.
They were super careful of our things, very communicative, and very hard working. Despite the heat, they worked non-stop. They took great care of both our things and our house, and they were really easy to work with.
The only feedback / improvement suggestion I have is that prior to the move I couldn’t reach Doug by phone to confirm the appointment and his voicemail box was full, so I couldn’t leave a message. So I stopped calling and switched to text, and he responded right away.
I’d use these guys again in a heartbeat; they were great!
