I used “Moving Masters” as a packing service and I have to say this was, by far, the worst packing job I have seen. First off, they were supposed to come between 9-10, but they couldn't and switched to between 11-12 because they had to "take a friend to the airport". They then instead of arriving between 11-12, arrived late yet again, at 12:30. Basically overall being 3 and a half hours late... Absolutely unacceptable. Then to make matters worse, instead of having 3 people... which is what I paid for... they only had 2 people because the other worker apparently got hurt. But oh no it's ok, he "won't charge me for an hour".... ???? How does that help me? There is no way to get all this work done with only two people. Furthermore, they get here and are barely 18 years old, if that. They arrive in their mercedes benz, saying they couldn't fit all the boxes they wanted to because the sedan was too small... Then WHY would you not be a professional with a bigger car to bring the boxes???? On top of that... they did NOT even have enough boxes to pack everything! Things were packed so shoddy. My very fancy wine glasses were barely wrapped in a tiny amount of saran wrap without any bubble wrap!! They would break with the slightest bump. I mean what is this? This seemed like two highschoolers who had a little side gig.... NOT EVEN CLOSE TO PROFESSIONAL. My wife and family and I have spent ALL day today opening the boxes and rewrapping everything! Ridiculous and shameful!!!
Even more bad news, the boxes labeled "fragile", only have one sliver of tape at the bottom and when just doing a simple transfer the tape started falling off and the boxes are opening up at the bottom! Meaning on moving the bottoms would break AND EVERYTHING "FRAGILE" WOULD FALL OUT AND BREAK!!!!!
Another box unpacked... All of our paintings worth hundreds if not more, our pictures which are priceless, packed with NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Just thrown into a box. Honestly who was doing this??? What is this?
Absolutely ridiculous after spending over $1,000 dollars on them.
This is just UNACCEPTABLE. NOTHING WAS DONE WELL. I spent all the next day re-packing and fixing their mistakes.
Absolutely unbelievable and this company should truly be ashamed.
They were LATE by 3 and a half HOURS.
They didn't have enough materials.
They didn't have enough time to pack, they were over by 2 hours because they only had two people WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE 3 AND CHARGED ME MORE.
They did NOT pack things well. They packed an extremely expensive computer monitor with just a single layer of SARAN WRAP!!! How in the world is that going to not break in a moving truck?!?! INSANE.
They did NOT even finish the job!!! At least 1/3 of the house isn't packed! I spent over 1 THOUSAND DOLLARS for them to bring materials and pack AND THE JOB IS NOT EVEN DONE!
I truly CANNOT BELIEVE that this is supposed to be a professional company. Absolutely UNREAL. I have wasted more time than I can imagine redoing everything!
I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND WILL MAKE EVERYONE I KNOW STAY CLEAR. Just absolutely ridiculous.
