Scheduled for 11am called at 11:10am saying they were running late. Ten mins later hire a helper called to say they rejected the job??? With renting Uhaul and Vehicles for a move 800 miles away this company In my opinion is not reliable hire a helper was able to find a different company to come at a higher $$ which hire a helper absorbed the $$ difference. This company has the potential to cost you more money with time constraints on Uhaul rentals and possibly having to vacate a property by a secured date. I dont like leaving a negative review as the gentleman I conversed with in the week prior Shawn? Was very professional. I also do not know if this is a common practice when dealing with this type of service where Hire a Helper covers the cancellations of companies? What if there really wasn't any other company to come when I was scheduled for? We planned on leaving immediately after they loaded us. Uhaul rented, reservations made in two different States to accommodate our 3 day drive. Would Hire a Helper reimburse me for the $$ for Uhaul xtra days and Accommodation cancellations?? Lots of ????? To ask in the event of a no notice company that cancels after they are already late.
