I would not recommend CT Family First Movers. The movers arrived on time and were respectful of the space but were very inexperienced. I found my husband helping them to move things and they struggled to move items such as a couch, or Dinning room set. They also were 1.5 hours late arriving to our new home. My husband left at the property the same time as they did (we checked Ring Cameras to confirm). We had to call dispatch to see where they were. We live off a major route, there’s even an Amazon warehouse just down the road. Trucks are allowed on this major route. We waited and waited with no communication. The move should have been just a few hours, took our whole day up. There was one gentleman who worked harder than the other, but they didn’t place boxes where I needed them too. They struggled to move our items. They were nice and respectful but would not use them again.
We’d like to clarify a few important details regarding your move. Because the online booking did not disclose heavy specialty items like a refrigerator and a very heavy table, and a safe. Our 2-man team was tasked with a workload requiring a 3rd mover.
Despite this, our crew worked tirelessly for 6 straight hours without taking a lunch break to complete your job.
When heavy traffic delayed transit between locations, we proactively sent you a photo update of the standstill traffic to keep you informed. To show good faith for the unexpected delay, we even discounted 30 minutes off your final total.
We always aim to deliver a smooth experience, but omitted job details significantly impact timing and physical strain on our crew. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your new home.

They did a great job. They made sure everything was wrapped and safe. They were fast and efficient. They even helped in areas they weren't required to. Very helpful. This was a temporary move for me and I will definitely use them again on my next move. They were also very friendly and fun to be with.
