This company cancelled on Saturday, when they were supposed to show up, so I agreed to Sunday morning, like they asked it to be moved to. I had to keep the U-Haul truck an extra day for them but I agreed. Well, Sunday morning between 8:00am-9:00am came and they didn't show. I called Hire-a-Helper to tell them they did not show up and Hire-a-Helper texted them and they told Hire-a-Helper that they called me at 7:30am to tell me that they were on another job and would be late. NO, they did not call me and even if they did how rude to accept another job knowing I had already agreed to postpone their time once. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE LIARS FOR ONE, AND NOT RELIABLE FOR ANOTHER!

They did a great job. Finished faster than expected while fully loading the POD with care. Even went above and beyond, moving an old washer and dryer unit from the basement up to the main level. Very nice and always checked in with me if they saw any potential issues or concerns

The crew was scheduled for 3 hours to help us load. The arrival window was from 11-noon. They didn't arrive until 3pm. We had already started loading so we only needed them for one hour and twenty minutes to finish the job. However, they did a good job and were respectful when they were there. They said they were running behind because someone didn't show up for a previous job. They also thought they were supposed to help us at 2 pm (even at that they would have been an hour late). We we called customer service and were able to get a discount for their tardiness and only had to pay for two hour service minimum. We won't use H&H again, nor recommend them.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
