Our movers with Mcleod were excellent.
They arrived on time and ready to help. We were a little underprepared, and we didn't know where everything should be unloaded and they were super patient and kind even when we asked them to move things to a different spot or rearrange things.
They worked super hard, were careful and quick, and we would definitely use them again!

Oue initial impression of Mcleod moving was really good. The four guys who came were on time, professional, courteous, and seemed to care. They were hired to pack up our items, and load them into PODS containers. As we watched them work, they appeared to be doing a good job and we were pleased. As the day wore on, we saw they were getting tired and began to take short cuts. It became obvious that PODS didn't deliver enough containers, so I wanted them to focus on the larger pieces that I couldn't move myself or with the assistance of a friend. Instead, they loaded the stuff that was easy for them and left us with some heavy, bulky items. And when we unloaded the PODS at our new home, we had several items broken or damaged including an expensive formal dining room table that was not protected well enough for the move. Again, they guys were pleasant to work with, but the quality of the work was less than we had hoped.

This team of four gentlemen, led by Mr. Doug McLeod is a professional phenomena!
They arrived early and called to let me know. I was coming from a doctor’s appointment.
They listen to you very carefully., check that they understand you correctly, are serious, courteous, extremely adept at protecting and moving numerous types of items. Thru the day they consistently astounded me by being so professional while very young and unassuming in their interactions.
Frankly, unfortunately, I had much to do to be fully prepared for this move. I was embarrassed. This was a 2100 sq ft home with a large attic and garage.
Mr. Mc Leod assured me that they had seen worse situations. He helped me organize my thoughts.
They each put me at my ease, assisted me in focusing and to go forward with the move.
I never saw one of them stop in all the four hours they were in my home. I had some snacks like nuts, fruit, cheese, and crackers.and beverages laid out for them as it was going to be a long day of hard work. I could tell that they had eaten some little bit of it, but I never saw them stop working.
They kept track of the time carefully. They checked in with me frequently to ensure that I was in agreement with how things were proceeding.
Towards the end of the move, Mr. McLeod, had me walk around with himself and an associate to make sure that every item was gone.
The kindness and commitment they enact while helping people move, which is one of the more difficult life endeavors, is remarkable.
I know that when I’m done with this note, there will be other things that I will have wished I had mentioned about this great moving team.
But I am exhausted from the physical and emotional stress of it all
I have never left anyone the tip percentage amount that I gave these fine men. I feel they more than deserved it. I wish that I could have afforded more as they are very special people .
He will be very fortunate if you are assigned this crew in your move.
I feel indebted to these fine gentlemen. When they were leaving I tried to communicate how grateful I was to them.

What training do you provide your crew members?
We require each employee to watch several videos on proper lifting, and moving techniques. After around 2 hours of videos we do 6 hours of hands on training at our storage facility. Each employee must pass the wrapping, lifting, stacking, and strapping test.
