They were very nice and worked hard. I realize accidents happen but they didn't tell me about it.
I had 3 pieces of furniture broken. My problem is that I am not positive they broke it. I had the furniture moved a few years ago into the storage unit. Your crew moved it out of the storage unit and to my new home.
The first thing broken was a piece of glass that goes on a table. it was an accident and could easily happen. It was on a picture and not wrapped. He was very apologetic and offered to pay for it. I was upset, but, understanding and did not make him pay.
Within a few days, I saw 3 other pieces that were broken. First was the leg of my dinning room buffet table. It was broken completely off, but being held on by the plastic wrap. There is a small piece of a decorative table broken on the drawer. Then, the top of the cedar chest was broken nearly completely off. 2 large pieces of wood ripped from two of the 3 hinges.
Two of these were hand made especially for me and given to me as gifts from loved ones that are no longer around.
I almost submitted a claim and should have. These are special and if the other company broke it, then, I should have been told by your guys. They told me about a chair which I knew about. I have a hard time believing it was not your crew that broke the buffet, decorative piece and cedar chest, since it was not pointed out to me.
I am very disappointed in their service and will and have not recommend you to friends, fb, twitter, work collogues or family. I actually have large furniture that needs to be taken to Goodwill for donation. But, I don't feel comfortable with your services. Honesty is so important.
I was made to feel guilty if I was to file a report. The man who broke the glass was afraid of getting in trouble.
Now I need to find someone and pay to get them fixed... IF they can even be repaired.
