My movers did not show up, and I wasn't notified until after the time they were supposed to arrive. Since they would be coming from an hour away, I couldn't even wait for Alliance to round up new helpers, and had to do it myself. This was the fault of the employees, but if the company trained them correctly or hired competent people, they would have known to call Alliance as soon as they realized they couldn't do the job, instead of just not showing up. That way there would have been time to get a new crew. Unprofessional all around.

The guys from Alliance Movers did a fantastic job with my move. They hauled all my heavy furniture and belongings down 3 flights of stairs, and they also carefully took apart and packaged my bedroom furniture. They did an excellent job of loading the truck, taking care to be sure everything was stacked and tied securely. They were extremely courteous, responsive, respectful and professional at all times. I would definitely use them again, and I highly recommend their services.

Alliance sent a terrific, professional crew. Al and Nik showed up 10 minutes EARLY, got right to it and took care of things.
They came prepared with the dollies and straps that were needed - good thing bc the ones I bought from UHaul didn't work. Everything was packed well and nothing broke in transit. Did everything you could ask and were more than pleasant to work with.
Would highly recommend and use them again.

The reason I hired a mover was because I have big furniture and I expected they could move the furniture and had appropriate equipment, I even called to forewarn them. When the movers arrived they did not have appropriate equipment. I would not use them to move large furniture but smaller furniture they were fine. The owner was very pleasant and tried to accomodate me and got another person to come help at the last minute.

They were about 30 minutes late BUT had called ahead to tell us that they were running late so we were fine with that. They got right to work and were very professional. They worked hard, were courteous and polite and treated our belongings with care. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing moving labor help in the Baltimore area!
