Once the movers showed up, they worked without any urgency. There was a lot of standing around and planning, not much actual moving. For a one and a half bedroom apartment, with two movers and three of us also helping (plus our nephew), progress was very slow.
Left with unfinished work
At the new place, they moved so slowly that we couldn’t get everything placed properly. Most items ended up left in the garage, and we still have boxes and bags left at the old apartment to move ourselves.
Cost
We were originally quoted $318. Because they took longer than expected, the final charge came to $363.93. Given how much we ended up doing ourselves, it did not feel worth the cost.
Bottom line
They were personally pleasant to deal with, but this was the worst moving experience I’ve had, comparing across both high-end and budget movers I’ve used before. I do not recommend them.
