Mr. Man Moving Service provides several manual moving labor services in Orange County,Los Angeles county, and Ventura county. Mr Man has been moving and relocating families for 15 years all over the USA. Mr Man is aware that moving is stressful and is here to take the stress away and make your move go as smooth as possible. We are up and running through the covid-19 crisis. We wear face masks and gloves to every job. Mr Man provides professionally pack/unpack, load/unload services, drive both local and long distance to any location. Just fee free to call and ask for quote. Mr Man does residential and commercial moving. Mr Man and his family of employees are a solid team and honest, hardworking, reliable men, and treat each piece of your furniture as if it were our very own. Mr Man does all his moves and will be there to do any of the work related to your move. It will be up to you to rent or purchase whatever else you believe is important to your move from (truck, blankets, packing materials, etc.). I can provide some things as well upon booking. With our Hourly Rates, you control how much work you want us to do for you. Mr Man can normally work up to 12 hours a day and you can send us home whenever you would like.

My workers were waiting at the gate to the storage unit when we arrived with the truck..They went to work as soon as they saw the space they were dealing with..They were very nice and listened to where we wanted our things stacked..I made these arrangements from Oregon to help unload in California..I was very glad to hear from my men that they would be there when we arrived..Great service!! Hire A Helper should screen these "helpers" that helped themselves to all my jewelry!
The Newport Police have been contacted and been in touch with Brian Baca aka the THIEF.
Their crew (total of 3 came) went through every jewelry box on site and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry.

I have never in my life hired someone who acted so put out by having to work. From the second they arrived, they did nothing but complain. The guy in charge was the worst. He spent most of the time on the phone trying to get another guy to show up. No one did. He was bitter about it. Here is an example of their attitudes — they asked where things went. And almost every time, they literally threw a tantrum at the answer. Kicking things. Cursing. Rolling their eyes. I will admit we have a lot of stuff. But we tried to make it as convenient as possible by having everything in closed boxes which were neatly labeled. We also cleared pathways so the boxes could be carried without obstruction. What’s more, my husband and I didn’t just watch them. We worked alongside them — doing much of the work ourselves. They also weren’t at all careful. There are chunks out of our furniture and dents and paint all over the walls in our new place. Then, to top it all off, they overcharged me by 1,5 hours. When he told me they were already at 6.5 hours, I was surprised bc we had reached our budget and so much was left undone. But I had to stay under $1,000. So we told them we would take care of the rest. Then, after I paid them, I realized they had only worked 5 hours. Even so, I was glad they were gone because they took their negative energy with them. We had to have friends to back and finish the rest. I will never again use Hire a Helper. It was the worst experience we have ever had with “help” in our lives. The guy in charge of the crew should be fired. Also, he is completely self unaware. One of my friends is moving soon and was helping unpack so she saw the whole thing. He told her to give him a call — as if (seeing their poor attitudes and performance) she would consider hiring them?!! Get a clue! The only positive experience about this was the ease in booking and the customer service response when I called about the overcharge. But overall, I wish I had gone with another company.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
