I had a wonderful experience with unity professional movers! They were respectful, friendly, and very hard-working--they definitely did not "run the clock". In fact they were literally running up the stairs to get more boxes to bring down to the truck. They were extremely careful with my furniture and thoroughly wrapped the items I wanted wrapped. They definitely knew what they were doing and were strong enough to move my very heavy dresser, washer, and dryer. They also took great care to ensure the truck was packed in a way that nothing would shift or fall during transport. They were a few minutes late but nothing major, especially considering they were driving in Houston traffic on a weekday morning. I'd definitely use them again next time I move!

My moving started as nightmare, I found one awful service after another, then I found your website and everything got good as it should have been. I really have to say that there is a lot of scam artist in this moving industry, but you guys, HireAHelper and the companies you work with are amazing, seriously, I am very thankful that finally I came across with somebody with a great attitude to do the job. They showed up on time and were ready to work. When they were loading the truck I thought they were fine. The frustration with them came when we went to unload the truck and I found that everything was carelessly placed in the truck. Several things were broken and damaged. I was angry that we paid so much for people help move our things and we had to replace several items anyway. I would never hire them again.

I drove a truck in from out of town, and was delayed. I asked my movers to wait for me, which they did, and they still completed the entire job even though it ran over. They were excellent workers who handled everything with professionalism and care.

The movers I hired (last minute) was originally scheduled for the 2-3:00 time slot... to load boxes for 2 hours. I quickly got a confirmation call and said the representative said the men were on another job so expect them more around 3:30 so that worked. Since they were coming from a southern city/ dealt with traffic they did not arrive until 5:30. They quickly loaded and got the job done a little before 7:00 in Texas heat.

They arrived late and then when they arrived we couldn't find the key to the lock on the truck. Once we were able to get into the truck they were great. They worked hard and were very respectful. We would definitely hire them again, but this time we would try to be their first job of the day.

On there moving day the client will be contacted by Unity Professional movers to notify that the crew is enroute and go over any last minute moving plans!!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for a upcoming move is to have everything boxed or bagged and ready to be loaded or unloaded. We always tell our clients that our guys move faster when everything is packed and ready. A mover is able to transport more things thats boxed then carrying one or two things by hand.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All our crew members are hired as moving helpers, that allow us to see a movers experience by them having the least responsibilities! We know within 3 moves as a moving helper a movers experience.
