I used "Hire A Helper" for the first time while moving to Jacksonville, Florida, and decided to hire Jody's Moving & Labor to help offload everything on the 16-foot truck. Two movers from Jody's showed up for a two-hour job, which cost about $200. The truck was mainly filled with boxes and a few larger pieces of furniture, including a dresser, bookcases and mattresses. The movers were really strong dudes — one lifted the dresser by himself and carefully carried it into the condo. They were well equipped to handle this rather light move, and they worked efficiently in the 100-degree summer heat. I was pleased with their work — nothing broke, including a glass cabinet — and they were nice guys. I'd hire them again.
