We have dollies available. *Specializing in helping facilitate seniors moving into care. I personally have years of experience making that process a more gentle one. Making sure their life long possessions will be treated with care and respect. I am also well versed in the process of working with the senior homes to make sure it's a fast yet personable experience. *

Tim and Rick from Transition Movers did a so-so job with our move. They arrived late at the start of the move and there was some damage to our floors at the move in location. There was also some damage done to the platform for our bed as a result of it being loaded into the moving truck without being wrapped/padded properly. Our entertainment center was also damaged to the point that we had to have them haul it out to the trash during our move. Both of these items were less than one year old.
At he end of the day they got the job done but it would have been a much better experience if we didn't have to deal with the added stress of repairing the platform for our bed, fixing the floors at our new home, and replacing our entertainment center.
I would likely use a different mover for our future moving needs.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Transition Movers. They were early and stayed an extra hour for me. I was packing out my elderly morher’s house into a POD. Tim told me with all the items we had, it was going to be a tight fit.
The expertise of packing everything just right in the POD is definitely a skill. Tim knew exactly what to do, and once he could tell everything wasn’t going to fit, he let us know. We then chose what needed to go into the POD and what could stay out. Tim and Rick even carried a couch and love seat to the curb for me for garbage pick up.
I would hire Transition Movers over and over again. You can’t go wrong with them!

These guys deserve the five star rating they have achieved. They packed two 16’ containers to the brim for us in 6.5 hours. We probably would have had to get three containers of it weren’t for their brilliant job with the game of Tetris. We apparently made their job a little easier by having everything (especially odd shaped things) ready in boxes. It makes it easier for them to load. Tim was talkative and friendly, but all about business at the same time. We had blankets and shrink wrap ready to go for them and they did the rest. They were conscious of my fragile pieces and white carpet. No damage upon loading. Well worth every penny and then some! I hope we can find someone just as good when we get to Washington State!

They were AWESOME. Highly recommend. Extremely cautious with their own safety, your safety and your possessions. Could not ask for better. Came with less than 24 hours notice. One had been in National Guard and one youth minister. Felt safe. They never stopped working. Placed where asked. Assembled what needed in time allowed. Overage billed in 30 min increments. Very accommodating and will ask for them specifically.

Transition Movers came on time and were ready to work hard from the minute they arrived. The team was efficient and had great leadership to focus their attention right away. The team was also professional and were extremely careful in how they handled my family's furniture. We booked the crew for 3 hours and they worked the entire time with a hardworking, professional attitude. I highly recommend them and would use Transition Movers again in a heartbeat.

Tim and Joe were great. They showed up in the earlier portion of the arrival window and got right to work. They worked hard and smart. We were moving out of an upper floor apartment with a wooden, 20-step, outdoor staircase in not great weather, and they made it look easer than it was. I had a few friends along to help. Tim worked very well with directing us how to best utilize the space in our rental truck, gave me good tips for the unloading we were going to be doing on our own, and made the overall moving experience easier. While I think we may have been able to move the furniture out ourselves, we would not have been able to do it as well. We also would not have had the energy to properly move our things into the new apartment, and we would have missed the deadline to return the truck I rented.
All in all, Tim and Joe made moving (which I hate doing) much more bearable. Thanks, guys.
