Once they actually got here, they completed the relatively simple job of moving a substantial number of heavy boxes of mostly books from my house into PODS container. They worked hard and skillfully and completed the job well within the 2 hours I paid for, which I expected and did not have a problem with.
Apparently, one of their workers was injured on the job earlier in the day, which required them to change their schedules around. They called to inform me of this and told me they would be late and gave me a new arrival time, which was fine with me and understandable. However, they did not arrive within the new window and did not keep me apprised of further changes. As a result, I wasted a fair amount of time waiting when I could have accomplished other tasks needed for my move. A simple phone call or text notifying me of additional delays as they occurred would have prevented this and kept me happy.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
A customer should have (if not ordered) Moving blankets, shrink wrap, etc. Also Customers should have all breakable items removed from dressers, night stands etc.

We’ve handled Local, Long distance, commercial moves, office moves, debree removal, load swaps etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is being faced with a strenuous task and completing that task in the presence of a customer.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training process is basically hands on experience. We have a written format on how we typically load truck. We have our movers study this format until it becomes second nature.
